Dan Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 We'll win this. Southampton will change their whole side. The fact we know it's Man City in the last eight especially given Southampton's position I think will force them into wholesale changes. While obviously we'd be underdogs against Man City I think we'd give them more of a game, and we've got less excuse to not go for it. 2-0 win. I'm confident of this one. 1

Not saying you're a bad poster by any stretch of the imagination, but this a rare thing for you to state such positivity.. "HOLD THE BACK PAGE, HOLD THE FRONT PAGE." "HOLD THE BACK PAGE, HOLD THE FRONT PAGE." Do you reckon? I'm sure I've had us to win a couple of times this year when we went onto not. I am quite confident we'll win this one for the aforementioned reasons. I will be extremely disappointed if we lose this. 1

Maybe Ghezzal for Albrighton (if he is fully fit) and Soy for Morgan, just to give the youngster more playing time. Southampton's second string team is much worse than ours. Expecting nothing else but win from this. COYL

Deeg67 Posted 26 November 2018 Posted 26 November 2018 Really seems like this is a game to get Soyoncu on the pitch. I’d say Silva too, but he seems to be buried so deeply that he may not even be on the bench for a cup match. 1
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 26 November 2018 Posted 26 November 2018 If we win this it gives us a nice set of fixtures leading up to and starting the festive period NOT: 18 December …. Manchester City ( H ) 22 December …. Chelsea ( A ) 26 December …. Manchester City ( H ) Come on you foxes !!!!

Reminds me of last season when we played Liverpool at home twice in quick succession - we beat them in the cup and lost in the league. I think I would take the same again this time round actually. 1

We've had a very easy run of games and been average so we need to pick up a couple of unexpected results otherwise we'll start 2019 nearer the bottom that we've aspirations for.
Finnegan Posted 26 November 2018 Posted 26 November 2018 Madders misses this then is back available for Watford, right?

Those fans soon left again. Still looking at 25-26,000 I reckon. Hopefully quality over quantity, this should be our biggest aim of the season, the league cup.

You shouldn't have mentioned this. Sky will be annoyed with the last five words of this quote, and will do anything to stop other broadcasters giving them live football competition and protect their market monopoly.. I think Sky will survive - by the looks of things they are showing 6 matches on Tuesday night across their different channels/red button! 1
