Madders misses this then is back available for Watford, right?

No Maddison, no Ghezzal, probably no Iborra.  Silva may find himself involved here by necessity - it would be great to see him take that opportunity and really run with it.

Dont forget Spurs at home on the 15th as well and Liverpool away on New Years Day. We've had a very easy run of games and been average so we need to pick up a couple of unexpected results otherwise we'll start 2019 nearer the bottom that we've aspirations for.

Yep.

Seen people say it's good we are 4 unbeaten but we needed more than 1 win from those games.

Table may not look very pretty in early Jan depending on how the games v Watford and Fulham go.

Bearing in mind the injury news, I would go with:

Ward

Simpson Morgan Caglar Fuchs

Ricardo Ndidi Silva Gray

Shinji

Nacho

Or possibly Nacho and Vardy up front, depending on how Vardy is doing. It would be good to get Hamza and Diabate on as subs during this match as I don't like how far away they appear to be drifting from the first team right now.

You shouldn't have mentioned this.

Sky will be annoyed with the last five words of this quote, and will do anything to stop other broadcasters giving them live football competition and protect their market monopoly..

I thought BT had this competition?

Sorry, desperate Pink Floyd effort.

Considering the Puel red card thread Animals may be better.

What kind of attendance are we looking at for this?

Hard to say. Still 8,000+ available. Southampton will sell about 1,000 out of their 3,000. Few more sales today and tomorrow all in all, so we could be looking at around 25,000 if lucky.

I was expecting this to get close to a sellout, pretty big game for us.

Ward

Simpson - Evans - Soyuncu - Fuchs

Silva - Mendy

Albrighton - Iheanacho - Gray

Vardy

Subs: Schmeichel, Morgan, Pereira, Ndidi, Choudhury, Okazaki, Diabate

Presumably Soyuncu speaks some German, so having Fuchs alongside him should help, and it gives Chilwell a bit of a break. Drop Ndidi again and give Silva a chance. Vardy needs to find form (same as Iheanacho) so they get starts, providing they're fit enough.

After watching MOTD  Southamptons defence looks suspect if not MIA at times if we can take advantage of their inept defence I’m sure we grab a few goals, but saying that they do have the potential of a counter attack but I’m sure we could soak up their pressure.

Now hoping I can find a stream to watch this at work and cheer on our boys in blue !!

Fortunately for Caglar,Fuchs speaks proper Deutsch and not the Austrian variation I have to endure on a daily basis. So you make a good point there
