weller54 Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Straightforward 2-0 win against a poor Southampton side. Expect Silva to get a run out. Fuchs in for Chilwell. Ward to save a couple of pens. Lord Farquaad to feature. 1
st albans fox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Ward simpson. Morgan. Soyuncu. Fuchs Silva. Ndidi albrighton. Kelechi. Gray Vards

StriderHiryu Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Puel definitely had one eye on this game so expect a strong lineup. I think we are better than them and being at home we should win this one.

KFS Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 These are so bad but we love making things difficult for ourselves so I expect an even game. Great prize up for grabs for the winner... not. 1
OhYesNdidi Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Ward Pereira Soyuncu Evans Fuchs Ndidi Mendy Albrighton Ghezzal Gray Vardy
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Strong team please would love to progress in the cup 2

Haywood_6 Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 (edited) We'll win this then get absolutely spanked by Man City (and mahrez) probably Edited 25 November 2018 by Haywood_6 1

reynard Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 All depends how many changes each team makes.I'd be surprised to see Vardy start. If he is nursing a groin injury then that will need to be carefully mananged over the next few weeks or we face a spell without our only decent striker.
Devonfox1884 Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Ward Pereira Soyuncu Evans Fuchs Albrighton* Silva Ndidi Gray Okazaki Iheanacho** *Presuming Ghezzal isn’t fit to play. **Based on the presumption that we won’t risk Vards while we’re managing his injury.
lcfcsnow Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Hopefully they don’t pull the trigger on Hughes before Tuesday
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 I want us to play a strong team but ultimately would love to see silva and diabate start
StanSP Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Ward Simpson - Soyuncu - Evans - Fuchs Ghezzal* - Ndidi - Silva** - Gray Iheanacho - Okazaki *Ghezzal to play if fit. If not, Albrighton to start. **Bearing in mind Puel appears to despise Silva, perhaps it'll be Iborra or Choudhury to start there instead.
Cropwellfox Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Think it will probably be something like this Ward Simpson soyuncu Morgan fuchs ndidi Choudhury Albrighton Gray Ricardo Inheanacho subs Jakupovic Chilwell Evans Mendy Silva Okazaki Vardy
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Manchester City await the winners …. don't fancy that much … when's this tie likely to happen ?

If it was why risk him at all yesterday. 1-0 down and only 10 men not really a game for an injured player. But wow when he come on 2015/16 Vardy. We've not seen that level from him for ages.

You may be right. But didn't he have this type of injury at the world cup? I can't recall. The team selection on Tuesday will be a big statement of intent. We could play a significantly changed team and still win but we must respect Southampton, despite their current poor form eventually they will win a game. If we progress then we must play a full strength team against Man City from the start. Had we done so last season we could have beaten them. We showed a real lack of ambition that night.

He has, it's been niggling for a while it seems and probably explains a lot with him in this season so far. Puel will definitely put out a strong side for this match, although probably not as strong as he would have liked because of the injury concerns we've had. We should have beaten Man City in the cup last year, and if we commit we can do get through it this year. The league cup is not exactly going to be a priority for Pep - they need to go all out for the Champions League and the Premiership is not going to be as comfortable for them this year as last.
