siraaj_lcfc Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Each of our rejects seems to spamming shit on Insta instead of actually tryna get into the squad?
wokinghamfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 His contract is up at the end of this season so without doubt he will be gone. The only real run he had in the side was at the end of the post title season after claudio had gone. He did ok in those games so I think all of the slating in this post is a bit unfair. He's a proffesional who wants games and lets face it Claude, does seem to have his favourites. I say good luck to Benny wherever he goes and I would say the same to club legend Kingy as well.
CosbehFox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 If he’s a professional who wants games, why hasn’t he taken up the opportunity to leave a couple of times? Cos he won’t take a pay cut
Bert Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 He’d obviously expected to be in the squad today but that’s not happened.
Tielemans63 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Benny hasn't realised that there's a subtle difference between him and Jese Rodriguez. Jese has some talent.

Shakey would give him a new 4 year deal

I would let him go on loan anywhere for no fee. Either way we have to pay him. id rather have a small squad than unhappy players who are never going to play moping about
Lesta Legend Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Nothing against him, he's an example where if a manager insist's on a signing where it can go wrong. I hope the club learns a lesson here, although the likes of Ghezzal and Diabate would suggest that maybe we haven't quite yet.

That’s a bit unfair I think. all I have taken from his Instagram is that he and people like Adrien Silva are working hard outside of normal training sessions to be as strong as possible. Only issue for him though is it’s not a physical issue that’s stopping him getting in the team.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Openly admits to others at the club that he's just sitting tight and taking the money. He's not alone. Not his fault. On paper obviously a bad signing, on turf even worse again not alone there. Can't budge them if they don't want to move/ loaned
eblair Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 not an awful player, actually had some bright moments for us, just least attractive centre back on our books not to bothered about post least shows he does want to be involved, would rather he was off the payroll but that is about it
Koke Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 16 league games in three and a half years. Top 3 worst signing all things considered since 2014. Had a decent game against Atletico Madrid and later West Ham and Arsensl but overall an absolute disastrous signing. He's 32 in March so can't blame him for sitting on his big contract. But I have no respect for him. He's a clown and a useless player.
Sampson Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 He's not that bad. He looked fine in his run of games under Shakespeare and held his own in the Champions League quarter final even. He's been a decent 5th choice centre back for us when needed. Clearly a long long way from the worst defender to wear the shirt. You guys must have short memories if you can't remember just how bad the likes of Ryan McGivern or Bruno N'Gotty were. He's nowhere near that level of bad.
jammie82uk Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 I think the point that nearly everyone is missing, it doesn’t matter if he is the best or the worse at his job, as I’ve previously said it seems he was set an objective but hasn’t got the offered reward for achieving it so like everyone in his position regardless of what your job is you would probably be annoyed

Not saying you're wrong, just like you to elaborate.
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 How he played in Serie A is beyond me. I thought you had to be good at defending to play in Italy. He looked a liability when he 1st joined us and somehow he seemed to get worse. It can't help when he clearly lacks professionalism though.

Kaputska cost 2m, low risk gamble for a young player with potential Hernandez was free and didn't do much wrong, just didn't settle here Iheanacho is still young and has offered more than Benny did, he gets a hard rap because he's being played as if he's a younger Vardy and can't do that Musa and Silva maybe.

He lost my respect when he decided to have a go at ending another player’s career in a pre season friendly. I missed that - what did he say?

UniFox21 Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Last comment is probably a big reason in why he also he isn't getting a look in.
VLC86 Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Hahaha he’s oblivious to how shit he actually is, what a man.
