Christian Fuchs to Aston Villa

Recommended Posts

Fuchs gets into the starting 11 of just about everyone south of our position.

It's unlucky for him that he has one of the best fullbacks in the country ahead of him.

we could probably get a decent back up and pay less than half the wages..

if like to keep him but he’s an expensive back up

He is but Villa ain't gonna pay his wages. So even if we got a cheaper back up, if we're paying 50%+ if his wages as well as those of a new signing, we wouldn't be any better off. Would make more sense to get a back up in summer where we would have more options available and could strike a better deal.

Laughable and will not happen.

Only real cover at right back, why go there as cover at right back.

I feel safer when he plays rather than the developing Chilwell. The RB transition period is not over.

left back

Quick look at the villa forum...they think Fuchs ain’t good enough for them ?????????

Surely they need a good full back to get the crosses in for Tammy Abrah.....oh that's right, he's ****ed Villa off at the first opportunity. Shame.

Given that everyone thinks he's off in the summer, presumably we need a new LB anyway. So if that business is done in this window, then Fuchs can go out on loan.

No no no . He deserves to finish the season here, have a proper send off at the last game, and then enjoy his semi retirement in the states. None of this loan nonsense. He showed against Mahrez in the cup match he’s still more than capable of playing to premier league standard.

You only got the side wrong 3 times.

Villa fans probably think they are at the same level as we are, so they assume a player that doesn't make our first 11 isn't good enough for them. Whilst some of our back up players aren't amazing (fuchs not included in that) im confident most of them would make villas first 11.

Ward ?

Simpson ?

Fuchs ?

Soyuncu ?

Evans ?

Gray ?

Hamza ?

Iborra ?

Silva ?

Iheanacho ?

Okazaki ?

This would be a good team for the Newport game...

Just want to apologise to any Villa fans I may have offended. They definitely wouldn't want any of the tripe that played today!
