davieG Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Leicester City centre-back Jonny Evans has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a broken toe. The Northern Irishman is set for a period on the sidelines with the injury, which comes ahead of City’s Premier League clash against Southampton at the King Power Stadium. Evans’ problem means Claude Puel will have to rely on Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan and Caglar Soyuncu for the next month, with no suggestion that Filip Benkovic will be recalled from his loan at Celtic to bolster the options in the centre of defence. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/evans-leicester-city-injury-news-2420398
mozartfox Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Get back Benko now and pee off the Celtic Fans.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 I had this idea he was a bit injury prone when we bought him. I guess we might continue to see Wes for more than expected. Don't tell Mozartfox, he'll be gutted.
kingfox Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Johnny "Sick Note" Evans strikes again, my West Brom supporting neighbour said he'll get injured quite a bit.

st albans fox Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Fortunately we only have league games to worry about .......
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Only three CBs available for 6 weeks, feels a bit lightweight that. So if Maguire or Morgan tweak a hammy we have to call up Benny u23 to the bench. Eek!!
Keiriel Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Someone's on the sick pay with Evans Someone's on the sick pay I know-o-o-o Someone's on the sick pay with Evans Strumming on the old bad toe Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o-o-o-o Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o Strumming on the old bad toe
Stadt Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Benalouane isn’t in the 25 man squad is he? Knight has been the under 23’s best player for a while now so I think he’s ready to be 4th choice

Sam Knight could yet end up being our top scorer this season.

He has years left in the tank yet with his pace and mobility, so I have no concerns.

Nalis Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Shame, timing always seems to be shit, seems to happen to our players when they get a decent run and are on a bit of form.
