Dahnsouff Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Dear God. Reading the LCFC twitter feed, talk about any stick to beat the manager with...Its pathetic.

Which obviously shows he’s got something about him yet, some people on here still question whether he’s good enough for us or not. Makes a nice change from being linked with the same players as Everton, West Ham and Southampton...

moore_94 Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 L’Equipe are on it now Jorge Mendes Involved “Yuri Tielemans, no longer in Leonardo Jardim's plans, could be traded with Leicester player Adrien Silva”

We lost a player we didn't think we'd lose in Iborra, because someone was stupid enough to give us a good offer. The shift is perfectly sensible and in the clubs best interested. I can't fathom why everything has to be someone's (usually Puel's) fault. I'd agree with you if Puel had done this earlier, Iborra has been gone a few weeks and Silva still hasn't had a sniff. Now, he's back in the fold? If he was in Puel's plans, then why wasn't he in the squad vs Newport or Southampton or Wolves? And where is Hamza in the context of what he's said there as well? I just find it a bit strange from the man. Hopefully Silva gets his move and we get Tielemans as I can't see Silva doing much for us.
moore_94 Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Think below is how all the big teams linked will feel about Tielemans

It seems obvious to me that if we could shift the bloke we would, but until he's actually shifted there isn't much we can do. We've held off on using him as we thought there was a good chance he was going, but if he doesn't go then he's quite likely to be involved at some point. So Puel has to play the "I'm happy with the squad, Silva is part of the squad" card, until such a time that's he does get shifted. He's never going to say, "I really don't fancy the bloke and I'd shift him if I could". It's just a boring Pearson'esque straight bat.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 "Let's have Jardim he knows his onions!" "Tielmans from Monaco, he looks a great prospect!" "Tielmans free to leave, not in Monaco's plans. Jardim would rather Silva." ..... Oh
Dahnsouff Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Just now, Finnegan said: "Let's have Jardim he knows his onions!" "Tielmans from Monaco, he looks a great prospect!" "Tielmans free to leave, not in Monaco's plans. Jardim would rather Silva." ..... Oh Therefore both Jardim and Silva are sh*te and Tielemans is the good un of the three....

Nick Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Maybe there’s something in all this Puel out shit afterall?

Oh Or maybe our Leo is sending agent Tielemans to us for six months as a scout for when he arrives here in the summer?

I suspect that is exactly it, but it's this sort of stuff that Puel does and really fails to communicate properly that baffles the fans and has caused the complete disconnect with him. Only other logical answer is, if the only clubs willing to take Silva either won't pay all his wages or will do but he doesn't want to go there (Fenerbache) so Puel might be trying to force Silva's hand in to taking a pay cut if he leaves on loan. Tielemans is evidently of interest to us, but we won't bring him in without Silva going due to wages.

Can't imagine that Monaco are that bothered to trade a young lad with plenty of scope for improvement for a nearly 30 year old that can't get a starting spot in Leicester's development team.

Jardim goes back to Monaco, sells us all their best kids for **** all, buys all our bollocks for £200m, quits in the summer flipping their owners the bird and rocks up here. Proper Football Manager cheat style

I think people wildly over reacting to everything he says and constantly looks for issues is just as much of an issue as his communication, if not more so. People can't or don't want to read between the lines in terms of what a manager probably thinks and what a manager can say as he still has to deal with players whilst they are under contract.

GingerrrFox Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Solid deal if it comes off. £18 million plus Silva on loan till the end of the season with option to purchase if they stay up.

Hahahaaa but he surely must realise how strange his actions have been with Silva and how the fans meet such news? The fact he called him a box to box midfielder like Tielemans after he categorically said he wasn't " that type of midfielder " to Ian Stringer last season is the icing on the cake.
