Thankyou haha someone who speaks something relevant. Yeah I thought about that puel clearly hasn’t had an interest in Silva and you would think there might be a bit of substance if the telegraph are reporting we’re interested, would much rather have Tielemans than a player who isn’t going to play for options

Just seems a bit of a windup when our performances have been so poor then puel comes in and says we have Silva it’s ok when he clearly had no intention of utilising him in the squad

If this (potential) deal is Adrien plus maybe a little cash for Tielemans then it would be good, as Adrien is doing nowt of value, so Tielemans must be worth a punt.

(Can he be any worse a fit than Silva?)

Seems possible deal as Jardim likes Silva and it seems we don’t really. Seems win win too me.

Starting to think this has may have legs....

It’s just the game it seems to me. Makes no sense to run an (unwanted/unneeded) player down if your trying to maximise his value to the buying party, especially as he is part of a transaction for another player.

Exactly. I actually feel a bit for Silva, had to wait months before he could train or play, gets a few games and is then cast aside. Reasonably asks to leave and then puel says he wants him, poor guy isn’t getting any younger now and must be desperate to get out of here

If you remove the dislike of Puel, it’s a sensible strategy for the club. Maybe, just maybe, he does not impress enough to be starting?

Guess we won’t know. Don’t give two hoots what his agent/dad says, he is completely partisan in such discussions obviously.

Silva must rue the day he signed for us.... Some things just don't work out, that 14 seconds is a real sliding doors moment.  Hasn't been great for us either but talk about unlucky. Part of the reason I can't feel sentimental about getting Drinkwater back. Then again if Silva can be used in anyway as a bargaining chip to get Tielemans and it all works out then what a chain of events.... It's a strange world sometimes
