StriderHiryu Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 We were outside of the Premier League for 10 seasons between 2004 and 2014. Perhaps we all take it for granted these days, but I don't! 40 points is a landmark number and well worth the odd tipple to celebrate to. Come on you foxes, hope you all have a good one tonight as we can look forward to another season in the league, and with a young and exciting squad led by a capable manager to boot!
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 It’s a sign of the progression of the club that reaching 40 is a bit of a non event At times with Puel small parts of me wondered if we’d make it. Well done owners for making the change!
UPinCarolina Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Great to be well safe with games in hand and 7th place still within reach! Plenty left to play for, make no mistake about it.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Another season in the PL ? we are eclipsing O'Neills run at last!
That_Dude Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 No one in their right mind would have thought that we'd go down this season. Still great to be safe now.
Spudulike Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 West Ham went down with 42 points in 2003. Just saying

StanSP Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Huddersfield and Fulham are an embarrassment. It's bad enough one team getting one of the lowest points record ever but for 2 of them, that's pathetic

Had only one of those sides been in the PL Huddersfield would've been on track to match Derby's abysmal record...
Vlad the Fox Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 You know what, you’ve made me reach for the whiskey.

Wizerud Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Hard to believe next season will be our 6th consecutive in the PL...

Spudulike Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Still behind Fulham in the all-time Premier League table at 17th. Expect to move up to 15th early next season. https://www.statbunker.com/alltimestats/AllTimeLeagueTable?comp_code=EPL

shailen Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Don't want to curse it or anything but have we got to the stage where we are almost too big to go down. Obviously every team can, but the investment we are making in youth, our new training facility, the managers and players we are attracting- I think we are getting closer to that top 6 and hopefully there for years to come.
