Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Totally a class act, one of the best to wear the shirt!
smitha Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Absolute Legend his partnership with Lenny was brilliant, so much quality on the ball gutted when he left. One of best signings and for 600k I think, an absolute steal.
teblin Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Before the championship winning team, muzzy for me was the best player I had seen play for city. Maybe one of the few from that oneill team that would have got into the title winning team.
Corky Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 He'll always be my favourite player. The best set-piece player we've had, surely.

I know Steve Bruce a little and remember talking to him about Muzzy around about the time he retired. Thought he was an unbelievably talented player, rating him amongst the best he had worked with and when you think of some of the players he played alongside and the number he has managed, that says a lot.

Hmm I remember it as we tried to shift him out for the money we were so desperate for only he didn’t fancy any of the clubs chose Brum so he didn’t need to move/travel to far hence he’s made his home in Leicestershire.
Izzy Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 I'm amazed he was never snapped up by one of the big clubs when he was in his prime. I think he'd have fitted in no problem in a top 6 side back then. Probably my favorite every City player until Vardy turned up but Muzzy gave me some of my best memories as a Leicester fan. He scored some absolute worldies too.
Swalshed Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 My favourite too. Wonderful talent. Seems a top bloke too.

irishfoxkev Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Quality player and human being.....Having met the O’Neill squad a couple of times when they visited Ireland Muzzy was the most approachable easy going of them and so willing to pose for photos with my then very young daughters. A real gent and as already said a great player
Russell sprout Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 My favourite city player of all time, then vardy came along?

I remember at least 2 transfer requests. One when Boro came in and another maybe villa? Just don't think he was quite the loyal hero hes made out to be. He'd have gone straight away when we went down if he could have. He was the best player ive seen for us until the recent era though.
Corky Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 But he didn't, stayed and was a massive player in us getting promoted again. Without him I don't think we'd have managed it, a top half Premier League player in the Championship.

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 What a talent and lovely bloke too. Second most skilful player in my time watching LCFC (1981) behind Mahrez.
teblin Posted 21 March 2019 Posted 21 March 2019 I remember him doing a step over in the administration year promotion which took 2 opposition players pretty much into the stands.
