Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 Ross Taylor will be steady and build an innings, run rate should go down for a few overs

Chiltern Fox Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 How the fcuk did dharmasena get this gig? Worst umpire on circuit.

Doesn't help that a lot of fans couldn't get tickets because it's far more important for people like Theresa May and Piers Morgan to be in attendance.

ScouseFox Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 be over as a contest by the time the tennis starts, decent
StanSP Posted 14 July 2019 Author Posted 14 July 2019 Another big wicket. Taylor can hit hard once he gets set but not today. Big chance for England to win this now. Good performance so far!
RowlattsFox Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 Would be reviewing that, big call from the umpire. Would have been easy for him to say not out and let England review.

Innovindil Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 Awful call but that's exactly why you don't burn your review.

UniFox21 Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 Really like how they use technology in cricket. Doesn't ruin the flow of the game and still relies on the skill of the officials, we could learn from them.

The frustration with VAR is it's used in line with blurry rules.
Super_horns Posted 14 July 2019 Posted 14 July 2019 England are getting wickets at vital moments not allowing NZ any momentum.

It's a lot easier to use in a game that is played in short bursts of action with regular, natural stoppages.

Moot point anyway as, like others said, NZ burned their review early. Edit: I get what you mean now. I meant that, the umpire could have kept his finger down and let England review it.
