ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 (edited) yeah football is now officially the worst sport in the world, what’s the fu cking point Edited 10 August 2019 by ScouseFox
Izzy Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Gotta give the attacker the benefit of the doubt then surely 2
Suzie the Fox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Hate to say this but am glad Man City have picked up and West Ham folded after 20mins ... Phhheeew.
Popular Post Jimothy Posted 10 August 2019 Popular Post Posted 10 August 2019 ****ing VAR. Nobody wants it to rule out goals like that. Pathetic. 5
Rasmic123 Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Ricardo and chilwell will have a field day against West ham's full backs. Side note, I'm already fed up of VAR 1
Finnegan Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 If they're gonna take var seriously they need to stamp the shit immediately out of players complaining. The technology just objectively proved that Sterling was technically offside. There's nothing to argue. Shut up and get on with it.
Suzie the Fox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Urrrrgh ... VAR is going to do my head in this season 1

Izzy Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 I'm actually gonna miss David Silva next season. What a class footballer. 2

It just made a correct decision. Who cares if it's millimetres, you have to draw the line somewhere and they just literally drew a line and he was offside. 5
Popular Post Ian Nacho Posted 10 August 2019 Popular Post Posted 10 August 2019 We need VAR for when someone is 5 yards offside. Not a half a millimetre of a player's shoulder offside. 9
Unabomber Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Lol if VAR gets it wrong then what’s the point? Can’t rule out goals for elbows being 1mm “offside”
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 It was offiside I don’t really see the problem... 1
Aus Fox Posted 10 August 2019 Author Posted 10 August 2019 **** VAR it’s is seriously going to ruin the game this season. That is a terrible decision

Finnegan Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Just now, Unabomber said: Lol if VAR gets it wrong then what’s the point? Can’t rule out goals for elbows being 1mm “offside” Why? It's what the rules state. The rules don't state a player is allowed to be five centimeters beyond the last defender they say he can't be at all. There's a skill in timing your run and staying on side, Sterling went too early. Sorry. Offside. If that was Harry Kane scoring a scruffy toe poke instead of Sterling scoring from a beautiful move, both offside by the same amount, foxestalk would be pissing itself saying VAR was brilliant and it was justice. It's hypocritical. The rules are the rules, play to them. 1
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 he’s about 4 yards on side and if you think anything apart from that you’ve only got an hour until the rugby starts you weird freaks 1
Aus Fox Posted 10 August 2019 Author Posted 10 August 2019 That’s simply not offside, not what the rule was designed for and not how it should be interpreted. 2
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 I thought VAR was for clear and obvious errors? Attackers should be given the benefit of the doubt and these decisions should be made quicker. When you're talking milimetres from the other side of the pitch its hardly a clear and obvious error from the linesman. 2

Its the downer when i have jumped out my seat celebrating, happy as larry only to find out its not a goal because he was a cm offside. 1

Countryfox Posted 10 August 2019 Posted 10 August 2019 Fairly pleased so far ... Wham .. who reckon they could be the best of the rest ... playing at home in their first game, all pumped up, big crowd .. look cr@p. I know Citeh make teams look like that but even so they are offering nothing and have no fight ... 1
