Anyone else in the doghouse?

Been working a lot lately, but with the wife not working, we need the money. Third is on the way, so I'm saving my time off to have more when she delivers and my boss gave me an extra week at Easter that she hasn't really accounted for. It's not enough though, so straight in the doghouse.

 

Anyway, for the time being at least, i'm enjoying the peace and quiet!

I work away alot, and travel abroad, so when I get back I'm jetlagged and I get told that I leave her alone to pick up the shit at home while I travel business class, eat in fancy restaurants and stay in posh hotels

Well I call it the pub. But that's probably part of the problem.

Infact i was asked to be home for 7 tonight. I got home at 6.51 and then got a bollocking for being early and dinner not being ready yet oh and making her jump by being early.

I don't think the OP is playing the game properly. I work away from home about 50% of the time. The other half thinks it's mandatory and part of the job. When the truth is, there is a queue of blokes putting their hands up for it. We get a clean and peaceful room, a TV to ourselves, free meals and cooked breakfasts (No pots to wash) beer tokens. I love it but I tell her I miss her and the kids but actually it's like a holiday, I'm having the time of my life
