Haha fair enough. It is actually ridiculous though that some people think its ok to boo our own players.

i really do hate it. I honestly thought our support was different when we'd get even louder after we'd concede during the great escape/title win, but since then we couldn't have done much more to prove me wrong. Shame this mentality has sunk in because on our good days we're up there with the best in the country.

And now, as if pink wasn't bad enough - this...

Oh, and "Vichai's Dream". Cringeworthy.

If we dont get an announcement video with the guy in the pink Adidas kit evolving into Tielemans in the Leicester kit the club dont deserve social media!

The fact we continue to boo Raheem Sterling and James McClean every time they touch the ball against us. Complete oddball behaviour.

Who's booed Raheem and why?!

It was pretty loud the last time we played them at home. I'm guessing plenty of our lot still buy into the whole tabloid perception of him sadly.

In his early days at Liverpool I don't think his agent did him any favours at all. He also used to fein injury and go down very easily which upset a few. Now however he's not only matured into certainly last year, the best young English footballer in the Premiership for me, but just as importantly,  matured so much as a person in a very positive way. He appears to be a thoroughly decent man and role model for young people. There was an input about him on Talksport today that made interesting listening. There's more to him than meets the eye.

Only on FT does the "Things That Annoy You" thread get nine pages.

And the "Things That Impress You" alternative gets three. lol

Just my opinion bud

not always but we tend to be loud enough most of the time (away obviously better than home but then that’s the case for 90 per cent of teams fans)

I get that, but it seems to me like a lot of ours are more desperate than most to claim some kind of special connection when there blatantly isn't one.

They’re too bothered about latching on to their “legendary” atmosphere and fan culture than actually creating a good atmosphere and culture amongst the fans for their, you know, hometown club.

Looking back, Im so glad Pearson, Shakey and Walsh persevered with him, not just for the sake of Leicester but for him as well. He could easily have drifted off the radar back down the leagues if it wasn't for them 3.

Have to admit though, I've been guilty of writing players off early. I said to my nephew after the Bournemouth game that Ricardo wasn't good enough to be a premier league right back. Never did understand why I've never made it as a scout ?

Tbf mate you didn't write off one of the best strikers in Premier League Folklore as Conference fodder

Itll always take some beating. Wonder where he is now. Would love to bump into him in Walkabout, will more likely be in That crappy little green supermarket on the corner of the roundabout

I was purely responding to the no link comment! I was not stating it WAS a reason to have an affinity with Rangers.

If someone wants to have an interest in a 2nd or more clubs then that's their choice,as someone else pointed out,  there's far more reason to make a link with them or your sarcastic Besiktas comment than VFL Bochum who a few blokes visited on a jolly lol cos they play in Blue n White.

I’ve got to agree with  Bluetintedspecs. The arrival of Jock Wallace brought a very significant number of Rangers fans into Filbert Street and they very vociferously supported the City, as we went in to win the Second Division title.  It was great fun going on away days with them. As far as I’m concerned, long may the connection survive. (Mind you, I’m the first of the three Protestant kids in our family after the first three were baptized Catholic. ..........Don’t ask, it is a long story).

So are you suggesting its acceptable to boo your own players. I agree that if you pay for your ticket you can pretty much do what you want within reason, but if you're suggesting booing your own players is acceptable then you need to ask yourself why you bother going to games.

How could you think that was serious?!

There's a certain section of our fanbase who just seem desperate to be loved by Rangers supporters. It's weird.

As for the Gibraltar flag with the word 'BREXIT' on it - Gibraltar voted 96% Remain in 2016. lol

I'm all for keeping politics well out of LCFC. It doesn't suit us.

Agreed about politics. Uncomfortable fit with football. Always strikes me as weird too - people who do it always tend to have a right-wing agenda, although Leicester is one of the biggest Labour strongholds in the country.

Goes to show that stupidity is its own constituency I suppose...

Not necessarily ‘embarrassment’ but things that have wound me up in recent years: (in no particular order)

1. Fans jumping on the bandwagon as soon as we started overperforming, some of whom having never cared about the club up until 2015/2016, then dropped back off when we’d lost a few.

2. Treatment/hatred of Puel.

3. Small proportion of our newly self-entitled fan base expecting us to win 5-0 every game.

4. Pretty much what people have said about our away following. Can be extremely toxic and so so dour when we’re not winning.

5. IRA chants- why?

People who were allowed to buy up gold and silver memberships in February of 2016, allowing bandwagoners to jump the queue and go to the rest of our home and away games ahead of people who'd given a **** all season.

People who sing in the concourse and do gymnastics after goals to look good on Youtube but couldn't give a toss about supporting the team the rest of the time, especially when we're losing.

Practically anything that gets sung when we play Cardiff or Swansea.

English fans causing trouble in Porto. A complete disgrace to all genuine football fans, Despite the result of our game, Porto was my favourite place during our European Tour. I found the Portuguese police very good, unlike the Spanish, especially in Madrid. We had many happy hours drinking and kicking footballs around down by the river, with no trouble at all.

Champions of England 3 years ago, great owners, great young team being built,  great manager,  sellout week in week out,  and the response is 3 times greater for the moaners than those that are impressed with the club, that f..king embarrases me.

Compared with all other clueless managers we have had over many decades he got off very likely.

Whilst, as supporters at the ground shown through lack of acknowledgement he did nothing to embrace himself in the club.
