Match day threads in this forum.

When we are narrowly losing or even drawing, the moaners in here who appear to expect us to win every game 10 nil playing Total Football, are giving it:

1 current and one ex for me....

ex: a few seasons ago, the child’s recorded voice over the tannoy shouting “and come on you foxes” absolute cringe!! To get the fans going.

current: “Wesley Morgan is a blue” chant.. he’s forest red through and through. We just sound stupid singing that

The half time t shirt throwing/shooting into crowd when they completely avoid the corner of SK1 where loads of kids are waiting. And the fact one family (groundsmans) seem to pick up multiple per game in close proximity. Just annoys me for the kids

People who tell others how they should support the club

People who think they are some sort of elite supporter and other fans are below them

Posted

I think our away support is amongst the worst in the league - The amount of people sitting down or standing up with their arms folded. I tried to start a chant at Liverpool this season to end the library atmosphere and just got an "on your own" lol. And when a few people start a generic Leicester Leicester Leicester chant at the back, most people ignore it or join in muttering under their breath ?

When tannoy man gives out the attendance and says 'thank you for your incredible support' most times it's not a fitting description though I don't suppose he can go all Delia and shout 'where are you, let's be avin you'!

By who? Stevie Wonder?

Its cringeworthy. Especially as I no longer live in Leicester and nobody I know supports us. They think everyone looks like that, apart from me, obviously. I'm handsome.

You should check out Burnleys fans if you think ours are bad! At least us lot have teeth and the right amount of fingers

Booing our own players onto the pitch at a substitution

Totally agree with this although it is only a small amount of our fans. Ghezzal and Iheancho spring to mind. Everton away was embarassing when people started chanting Marc Albrighton (who was on the bench) when Ghezzal made a poor pass. Granted the 2 above players have been very poor but we shouldn't boo them. A guy behind me at Everton shouted "**** off ghezzal you're shit" when he was right in front of him, and the pitch is not far away from the stand at Goodison. We do have some clowns support our club but no more than any other club does.

Liam Moore and the players don’t think so...

Looking back, Im so glad Pearson, Shakey and Walsh persevered with him, not just for the sake of Leicester but for him as well. He could easily have drifted off the radar back down the leagues if it wasn't for them 3.

Have to admit though, I've been guilty of writing players off early. I said to my nephew after the Bournemouth game that Ricardo wasn't good enough to be a premier league right back. Never did understand why I've never made it as a scout ?

People who leave early, regardless of the situation of the game.

People who defend that behaviour by saying they're entitled to do that  because they pay their money. Well obviously they are. That's not the point though is it? You anodyne fvcks.

Can we add in the people who consistently arrive 10-15 minutes late, the people who head down 5-10 minutes before half time, and the people who don't resurface until 5-10 minutes after half time?

And especially those who somehow manage all of the above so they end up only seeing 30minutes of football at most.

Some of these people are ST holders too, so taking seats away from members who are unable to get a ST because of limited numbers...

"Champions of England, you'll never sing that". To clubs with more titles than us.

It's still true, though, if it's aimed at a club like Huddersfield, Wolves or even Everton. I doubt it's been directed at Liverpool or Man Utd., has it?

The fans you're saying that to aren't going to be singing about a league title they won before any of them were born, are they? And it's highly unlikely they'll see the day their team wins it again.

I also thought he’d be a great right back, makes you wonder why bloody Sven kept playing him in goal!

We all love Leicester and I genuinely think we have an incredible fan base. But, as with every club, we have our fair share of things that can be embarrassing. Maybe not on the 'youre getting mauled by the tigers' level, but lets make a 'try to not do this list'

Lets stick to one `annoyance' per post.

I'll start....

Trying to create a rivalry with Spurs. They dont care about us and the amount of posts about them I see on this forum is just embarrassing, we cant force a rivalry because we had one close season with them!

Living in London, I know loads of Spurs fans and let me tell you, they definitely do care about us. Not enough to be a proper rivalry but all of them believe we 'stole' their chance at the title. Used to quite like them before that but absolutely hate them now.

4 pages in and no mention of the jazzed up Post Horn Gallop abomination we play at half time? Shame on you all.

Clappers and our away support are also the pits.

Not the point really though, is it?

Everybody and their dog knows we won the league - the story's been done to death, and consequently it's stale. To persist with chants/songs like this just confirms others' prejudices about us.

It would be funnier, fresher and more original if we didn't go on about it or at least be a bit more self-deprecating about it.

Bit these qualities seem to have largely deserted our fan-base since 2016.

Shame really. We used to be quite funny, believe it or not.
