Fan’s Groups Angered By Lack Of Consultation Prior To ‘Stealth’ Increase In Ticket Purchase Fees.

Don't see the problem really most of the time i buy 5 tickets on line so an extra £4 a time. i want my club to spend money on big players, i want to see lcfc in Europe again. so while we are spending whats the problem, wasn't that long ago i was paying more than £30 to go away games.

And it's only through fans' groups lobbying for that cap in the Premier League that you don't have to now.

I hate to break it to you, but the club don't need your extra four quid to achieve those things, and they didn't need it to win the league either. Sky TV money and billionaire investors more than makes up for that.

I take it you have been around a long time and don't remember the old days if ever top sells us that £4 might come in handy and don't talk to me about our fans group the foxes trust. so away games for season tickets is £1 more you pay more than that for buying other tickets on line.

Been there through good and bad pal. If King Power ever sell us then your four quid would be better off in the hands of the Foxes Trust, who have a contingency fund going for if things ever go tits up again like they did in 02/03.

If i thought any of my money went to the foxes trust i would give up my season ticket i have had for 45 years.

I despair sometimes. It isn't the extra money - I don't mind it, I doubt many do - it's the nonsense in calling it a Booking fee. Just put prices up for everyone, rather than finding a stealthy way to charge non-members/non- local residents more.

It's about honesty - call a pound a pound, not £0.99

The situation as I see it is that the club didn’t discuss with the supporters groups as they probably just give these groups  lip service rather than see them of any value.

If the club really held the groups with any regard then these situations would be discussed, but I just see it that they hold meetings as they feel they have to, rather than want to.

The club has enough knowledge and expertise within to be able to operate without the groups involvements, and from what I have seen over the years, much of the stuff discussed is quite small irrelevant and so won’t be of any real value to the club.

This point regarding booking fees highlights to me how they feel about the groups. The club is moving forward with it, they want to, and know the commercials and they don’t want anyone from outside telling them what they think they should do. And they know the groups would oppose it, so working against them rather than with them.

If it was my business, I would think the groups are a right pain in the backside.

Bringing this back up; They charge a fee for each coach ticket as well. Absolutely ridiculous.

So for the 3 tickets and 3 coach we bought for the away game, £6 added on. Why?

I'd rather they up prices by a pound than adding a "booking fee". Transaction fee I could live with, but per ticket, fook off.

Me and my dad just realised. It's ridiculous.

We can't print these at home and it's their own coach service. Why charge for a bloody coach ticket.

Cant go wrong with Maz and her coaches to be fair. Get you in other cities at decent times too.

yeah haven't gone wrong whenever I've used them! Very reliable.

Advantage of club travel I guess is they usually park up close to the grounds and pick up the odd freebie here and there. But there's very little in it journey wise.

As already said you have a choice for coach travel you'd save £12 with ausden clark, also only the peasants pay match ticket booking fees.

Do they actually MOT their busses now?

Everyone start picking up at shop and they will soon reverse the fee. Costs them a lot more to manage these in person

If I go on the bus (which is about 3 times as season as I usually train or car everywhere) then I do usually do FoxTravel but have looked at Ausden Clark before. Might change.

Same here, only get in like 3 aways a year, so FoxTravel was easy enough to do. But will start to look at others now, especially with the "cooking/booking/fooking fee"
