He is playing the 'injured' whenever a national break comes so often that it has become a meme.Whenever he left the pitch people are prone to check the next national break. He is mentally finish for football, he is just playing for a having a job and nothing more.

Only just saw Tielemans' goal for Belgium against Wales. What a finish!! 

He's class and while he obviously fell off in his last season, what a great player he was for us. From his immediate impact on loan to his crowning FA Cup winning goal, he gave us some great memories with so many superb passes and goals.

The more you see how he is now performing for Villa, the more it shows just what a shambles the player conditioning was for us in Youri's final season with us. He was massively overweight for us, compared to what he is now

I think part of that has to go down to the management too - Rodgers let him get away with being in relatively poor shape for a supposed athlete. You only have to look at how Unai Emery benched him early doors and kept him benched until he got himself in shape. He hasn't looked back since.

What are you basing this on? Seems a ridiculous comment. Footballers at this level have been taking care of their bodies probably their entire careers. 

Youri was always pretty one-paced (not as bad as Kingy though) and for some reason fans reproached him for this.

Bang on. And I always said this about King at the time. His head always went and looked like he couldn't run, almost every game, nobody said a word yet for Tielemans he got constantly slagged for it.

 

Terrific player for us Tielemans, one of the best midfielders I've seen here. Ended so sour but always a legend for the Cup Final goal.

I always liked that people would say "Youri doesn't give a sh*t" and yet almost every goal celebration he was probably the player that was most buzzing.

 

It was just lazy comments that got repeated more and more until it became fact in a lot of peoples minds.

Wasn't it just, i thought that finish was hugely underrated given some goals that get praised to the heavens, it was a cracker.

Absolutely and he also looked genuinely angry when decisions went against us, which I absolutely loved.

We just signed midfielder Ollie Norburn. Looks like he came up through your system, but never played for ya. That was 12 or so years ago, so I don't imagine anyone here can recall him?
