I knew all this VAR chat was a gateway drug, you know how it is: one minute you’re talking about Vardy’s toenails being offside the next your talking about what happened with you and the Barmaid at The Crowns Head on Saturday night..

Some people really don’t live in the real world.

Please tell me this is a Poe's Law/deliberate bait designed to discredit a movement, please. Surely no one can be so daft as to believe this sincerely.

Ridiculous.

I honestly had to check the date to make sure I hadn't slept til April.

I see that commie libtard John Bolton has been badmouthing the Commander-in-Chief now, saying he's a corrupt, power-crazed, anti-democratic abuser of US power in the Yukon or something.

Where do these socialists get off with their fake news and hoaxes? I bet the President has never even heard of John Bolton. "Lock him up!"

Saw this earlier. Astounding. Why is it beyond people who may feel excluded to check the scores at the weekend or just say ‘VAR has taken the fun out the game by getting rid of the advantage for attackers rule’. Gg ez.

if I want to join in a conversation about bake off or something I would have to do some bloody research. Why is that below some people

This movement seems to be growing at the moment- trying to ban or stifle things you don't agree with that aren't illegal or libelous, see also the comments about grid and walk on girls a while back. I don't watch reality TV so I'd be excluded from those conversations, they hold no interest to me- but I wouldn't want them banned. People have the right to discuss them.

And that remark about football chat leading to boasting about sexual conquests- has anyone ever heard that happen?

On paper they shouldn’t be the worst offenders but there’s something about the “I like football but I don’t support a team” types that really grate on me. You’re supposed to be a tribal twat with football

Would be interesting for him to take the stand.

I have a solution to the twin problems of Prince Andrew allegedly not cooperating with the Epstein investigation and the US refusing to extradite Anne Sacoolas - a prisoner swap.

It used to be a common event during the Cold War and in the Middle East. Take Andrew and Sacoolas to a neutral country - maybe Iceland or Greenland - and swap them over.

This would be conclusive proof that the US respects British justice, that the UK doesn't protect establishment figures from US justice - and that the "special relationship" is not meaningless PR guff....

At night on a cold bridge with blindfolds, automatic weapons and a lone tense walk where they have pass each other in silent fear and shame?

Only way it should be done IMO.

NB. Don't forget the searchlights.

They might be more interested in Julian Assange though ;)

Schoolas back over for Assange and Andrew? I think most of us will be up for that.

Bit like the time we sent Kitson to the shaggers and got Ormondroyd and Phil Gee in return.

Could any exchange occur with the many thousands of media hawks trying to shove mics in their respective faces.

Should 100% ban London-based Liverpool and Man Utd fans from ever talking about football, it's insufferable

Totally this, I used to work in an office with a bunch of clueless fans who did their fantasy team every week but didn't always know when "their team" had played.
