ScouseFox Posted 21 September 2019 Posted 21 September 2019 yeah they are the best team in the world tbf
Nalis Posted 21 September 2019 Posted 21 September 2019 Great try. Typical NZ, nowhere for 20 mins, class for 3 and they're ahead. So clinical.
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2019 Posted 21 September 2019 Always coming tbf. South Africa brave to come out the way they did but they were working so intensely hard that's going to burn you. It's like a heavyweight boxer absolutely gassing himself out then being winded.

Finnegan Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 I mean Ireland are barely having to work for this.
leicsmac Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Would the term "brutal, detached yet unenergetic efficiency" suffice for Ireland so far?

I'd use less words: "Second gear." Not Irelands fault, you just play what's in front of you but Scotland have offered literally nothing.

Definitely agreed on Scotland offering naff all.
Nalis Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 We've been clinical, hard to assess our performance overall given Scotland's usual high risk game has failed so far. We've got them up front and their backs are their best players so might as well keep going direct.
Tielemans63 Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Random I know but are touchies not bothering with crooked line out throws in this world cup? Don't think I've seen a vaguely straight throw yet. The relatively low number of lineout steals would suggest that too. The hookers aren't even pretending any more.

Think they are just allow for more margin of error. That and offsides have been a bit lenient so far in this World Cup. The officials are all top refs though which makes it a bit stranger, not like the football world cup where there are refs out of their depth from shite leagues.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 The Tongan no.3 is an absolute unit.
EastAnglianFox Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Really like this referee, explains his decisions clearly and seems to use common sense which is an absolute rarity in sport it seems
Countryfox Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Sport overload this weekend ... struggling to keep up ...
leicsmac Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 England are going to need to be more clinical against better opposition.
