I think I was watching the MOTD filming and whilst the replays were going on the commentator announced it wasn’t going to be a goal about 20 seconds before the referee got the signal to chalk it off. I initially thought they’d given it for the lad who headed it in being offside but they went back again about 2 minutes later, showed the normal speed replay again and said it was because the left back received the ball from an offside position. As mentioned before the game isn’t supposed to be on TV so there’s been no debate around it to clear it up either.

And as camera pans away from that area to other Newcastle fans commentator says ‘That’s right out of the top drawer’....He was talking about the goal of course but timing was just perfect....Maybe someone who is good at techie stuff can upload it from BBC
