A fine or threw out the FA Cup for the next two seasons.

Dahnsouff Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 Fair play to the work Ralph Hassenhutl (sp?) has done at Saints, took a time, but looks well worth it.
PhillippaT Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 I don't suppose anyone can explain why we're sitting here watching a Spurs match not involving LCFC or Arsenal? I guess we're just hoping they'll lose, and want to see it when it happens?:D

They've definitely done a good job of sorting themselves out after we tonked them. But then teams seem to do that, right? (Though usually by sacking the manager or spending loads in the following transfer season? )

We can be thanked for that. Joint 5th in the form table in the 15 games since we hammered them. It wouldn't surprise me if the coaches or players drill in to themselves that that kind of performance (not necessarily the result) must never happen again.
Dahnsouff Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 Although keeping Tottenham may be to our benefit...

Didnt realise it had got so much coverage in all the UK papers.....Rumour has it he’s another member of the Longstaff family 😀 Oh getting interesting now Saints equalize 👍
StanSP Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 Brilliant goal. A lot of good work from Redmond there. Reminds me of the game against us last month. Home side go ahead. Southampton dominate and turn the scoreline around deservedly so.
surrifox Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 Southgate goes to to prem games in his role as England manager and still thinks that Dier is the best player in his position
Fox92 Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 At least Southampton go with 2 up front. I was impressed with them at our place, not really content on just setting up defensively.
PhillippaT Posted 5 February 2020 Posted 5 February 2020 Another match for ET/Pens? (I need to do some shopping, though, so I'll miss that)
