Guest An Sionnach Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 Could this lad be our plan B when Vardy is unavailable , He is 20 now so ready for the move up , he is tall 6-3 and with a very good scoring record , could be our Tammy Abraham .
UniFox21 Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 No, no way is he ready yet. Also probably better suited in the development thread rather than its own thread.
sylofox Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 What's he done to suggest he should even warm the bench?

Guest An Sionnach Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 Never going to know if you don't try , we have one striker , not one of our other players has even a decent goals per minute record , sometimes you have to throw them in and see and his dad was a good player.
Fox92 Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 Thought he didn't have the greatest of returns in Belgium?
urban.spaceman Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 We should only play him if we draw Sheffield Wednesday in the cup IMO.

You never know. Hoping to get my run out soon

You just said he's ready for the move up (why?) and now say never going to know if you don't try. Which is it? Is he ready? Or do you still need to take the gamble?
Guest An Sionnach Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 Strikers seem to be different , they just seem to have the gift , you can only teach them so much .Owen , Messi , Shearer , Kane , all teenagers when they got their chances . Pick him for a cup game and see what he can do.

Guest An Sionnach Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 Nope , Nobody can compare to Messi, but strikers often start young and that's because managers took a chance , Hirst is recognised as promising in age group football , and we need some options up front.

Or we could recall Loft and replace Vardy with him. Never know till we give him a go.
Sly Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 I wonder if Vardy hates him, being a Wednesday fan and all.

Guest An Sionnach Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 I doubt it , he knows he can't go on forever and a top striker to replace the great Jamie would cost us a small fortune , correction a big fortune..
ronnup Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 20 isn't that young. He should be established by now if he's ready and knocking on the door of a bench place at least.

Bossman Blessed It Posted 11 October 2019 Posted 11 October 2019 I reckon this is Iheanacho's last year with us given the amount of game time he's getting and I don't think Rodgers has the full trust he'll do a job in any case. Should we sell him on in January or the summer, I think we'll seriously consider Hirst as an option to come into the fold.
