Southampton (A) - Match Thread - 25/10/2019

Recommended Posts

All this "Traditional big six" talk is why, aside from our clubs progress and achievement, It would be so good to upset it, but it would take at least three consecutive years of someone, be it us, Wolves, West Ham or Everton to finish top six before they start to say this is a new era in the game. Chelsea's transfer ban along with Arsenal and Utd's general shiteness are making it look as possible as it could be, every matchday, every result, ours of theirs, is going to matter this season. Let's do it, let's gatecrash (again) and turf out one or two of the self entitled Sky favourites.

Let’s hope then that there’s a late change in the team so that Steve Lynex plays as he is used to such conditions

Against Southampton too :D

2 games running Nacho hasn’t even made the bench

Can see him being shipped out on loan or sold in January another promising player bought in with great promise that just hasn’t worked out for him, bit of a shame really had high hopes for the lad !

But maybe Brendan can see something in him send him on loan to a decent club that can bring his confidence back?

Fair play to Neville for praising the way vardy plays atm, but I think he's wrong in saying he wasn't as clever as he is now when he started playing for England etc. He was this smart, but wasn't used properly by England! We know he's always been this good.

Always felt it was a strange transfer in the first place. Couldn’t see where he was going to fit in. Most of his goals at Man City were tap ins from three yards out after 550 passes from one end of the pitch to the othetother
