Martin Keowns "analysis" really is poor. Not just tonight, but in general. He basically just reruns the goals and says "great pass" "good finish" etc. Doesn't talk about player movement or tactics. He just telling what you can already see.

All he managed to say was our team is young tbh. It's where sky with Neville and Carra and BT when Crouch or Hoddle is one and they actually analyse and describe the events. Keown is decent when it comes to anecdotes and stuff or defensive analysis, but not a lot of good for attacking play. It's where Jenas should've been talking about passing and movement etc

Being a player doesn't equate to being a good commentator. The managers of the game are elite in their thinking. Playing the game isn't equal.

I know, what are you trying to tell me that I haven't pretty much said? lol

Nah you're right, just found it funny of all things Jenas argued the decision going for us.

They need to decide what's a red and what isn't, Youri did a similar one, wasn't sent off but in retrospect was deemed a red card challenge

Yeah Youri one was a certain red. Accidental but dangerous

Same can be said for this one, accidental due to the conditions. But he's gone over/around the ball and flat footed onto Perez's leg. If it's planted its a leg breaker potentially.

Notice how Leicester fans aren't attacking Bertrand or keeping track of fouls and red cards he has?

I feel a bit sorry for him. Conditions played a big part imo. Still a red though

If you want a fun game, next time he's on co comms, listen out for him breathing in through his teeth after every sentence. Once you've noticed it...

Thanks. If a game covered by Keown wasn't bad enough, you've just made it worse lol

lol Jenas actually trying to justify the dive!

Jeans changes is mind more times than the weather, it was a dive, hardly a push in the back, also got it wrong with the tackle in our game, if that had been one of our young players he would be wanting him band. Could have broken the lads leg.

The comments he makes is one reason why VAR will never really be accepted by everyone.
