Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 February 2020 Posted 21 February 2020 Not that many active footballers I like, bet Iniesta could still do a turn in LE2 mind.

bovril Posted 21 February 2020 Posted 21 February 2020 Cambiasso for one appearance, as I didn't get to any live games in 2014/15.

murphy Posted 21 February 2020 Posted 21 February 2020 This won't be popular but I think we need a general and an all round nasty fecker. For that reason, I'll say Roy Keane.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 February 2020 Posted 21 February 2020 If we're talking past players then Proper Ronaldo, Rui Costa, Batistuta, Nedved, Ronaldinho
Dan Posted 21 February 2020 Posted 21 February 2020 Just a sheer mention of Ronaldinho's name and I've had to dig out a Youtube video. The bloke was incredible. He actually productive though as well as having all the flair you could want. Most entertaining footballer I can think of ever, between him and Messi anyway.

Messi and Ronaldo are unquestionably the best of my lifetime, arguably of all time - and I'd never pit one against the other, but neither were as "fun" to watch as Ronaldinho, not to me anyway.
