No offence but if you’ve genuinely only seen 1 person in shops without a mask, you ain’t been in many shops

I popped out to the local Tesco mini store last night on Lutterworth Road and was in there 5 mins

Literally I counted 6/7 young people in their without masks. The staff never said a dickie-bird. I gave a couple of them a little stare to which they told me to go and fook myself

Contemporary Britain is a shit show

Not having that anyone told you to fvck yourself for looking at them lol what is your problem with younger people? Strange bloke

This is fvcking stupid. Why go out after the test but before a result, putting people in potential danger?? Idiotic.

Why book a test and they go anywhere before you've had it or the result? I've seen a few stories of people doing this. If you believe you're unwell enough to book a test, then you believe you might have it, if you believe you might have it then don't go anywhere (other than the test obviously), its pretty simple.

After William Shakespeare was the second person to get the Pfizer jab, I assume the govt spin depts will get their act together and we will see Oliver Cromwell getting the first Oxford jab tomorrow ...........

Not saying my expectations of this government are low but I’m fully expecting it to be Jimmy Saville.

So Johnson has said send kids to school on Monday then 🤦‍♂️

Between him and Williamson they've absolutely ****ed the teaching profession.

Never been of lower stock and the nation have been turned against them. This government should be remembered as the one who used children as a tool for political posturing.

Even the most ardent of Conservative supporters SHOULD be critical of this.

Spot on

To go out anywhere (other than to have the test) is amazingly reckless

That said, I’m afraid we have seen so many examples of people being ‘amazingly reckless’

I don’t understand it and never will

The most head scratching thing is the statistics and the paper from SAGE are party to the public and therefore we can all see the advice they are choosing to ignore.

I agree

He's trying to win a battle against unions with human lives being the cost. Its astonishing.

How the unions haven't called for his head sincerely its baffling to me. A once great profession that's in the gutter, now.

Thing is, I don't agree with people having parties etc, but if you're feeling well you can understand why people may be prepared to take the risk. Even though we've been told enough times that even without symptoms you can pass it on. But to go places when you think you might have it to the point you've booked a test to check that is next level reckless.

On education, I’m studying primary education and am due to go on placement in a Gloucestershire school tomorrow.

It seems very unnecessary for student teachers to go in, especially when you consider the fact that we’ve been told we don’t need to have tests before we do. If I’m asymptotic, I could take the virus in, spread it amongst the kids, who will then take it home and spread it even more!

I understand it’s a horrendous balance to try and find, but surely the health of teachers/students/pupils should come first, meaning temporary closures are needed. I’d be more than happy to spend the time I would’ve been in school creating resources and holding lessons on zoom, it’s not ideal but it can and would work!

It’s a shit show how London schools get to close in tier 4 but no one else does is crazy. The councils should just step in and say no not opening. Won’t be sending mine in tomorrow it’s nit fair on them or the teachers. No doubt in 2 weeks they will all be closed again anyway he should have done it now while they are already not in. Will cause more disruption opening and closing the schools again instead of leaving them closed while cases go down

He was doing a tour of our office around the time he was binned from defence for leaking sensitive material to get more funding. General view from colleagues who gave the tour was that he was a complete lemon.
