Maybe Fosun want someone a bit more attacking now we're relatively established. Though maybe he just wants to spend time with his family. He's found it really tough not being able to see them for long periods. Would like Sporting's manager Ruben Amorim. He's very highly thought of as becoming a top manager. Don't want Gerrard. I've stuck up for Wolves in past seasons, whilst alot of people on here liked to slag Wolves off I genuinely enjoyed watching Wolves but this season i'm sorry you've been shocking and its more than just simply losing Jimenez, you've been poor all season, even a long time before you lost Jimenez, I think I had this disagreement with you earlier in the season. People (Including me) overlook the loss of Jota, It was only pointed out to me as a possible reason as to why you were so bad a couple of months ago and its the only reason I can come up with, that said I don't believe Jota played every game for you did he? So perhaps its a contributing reason but not necessarily the reason. You can argue losing Jimenez and Jota are massive to why you've been poor but the bottom line is you shockingly poor before you lost Jimenez. Edited 21 May 2021 by Matt

Kane's gone and Son is texting 'urgent exit required' as we speak, Alli has completely lost himself, their squad is ageing and absolutely awful, and their recruitment is notoriously dreadful. And then there's Levy, who's got a billion pound debt to pay off, a disgruntled fanbase who will rightly will vote with their wallets when being asked to pay £60 a ticket. They're in terminal decline and could genuinely find themselves in relegation trouble if they don't get the next year right. They can only scapegoat their manager so many times before the blame finally resides in the right place with the owners and Levy. Its been downhill since they lost the Champions League Final and stopped building and replenishing their squad. Don't be surprised if Liverpool are next if they don't get in the Champions League. The Super League was created for a reason. Guaranteed income. More money in the owners pocket and as little as possible on the club. Its why they hate us. We're better at everything and don't spend shedloads of money.(relatively speaking)

Pre-Jimenez injury - P10 W5 D2 L3 We lost our main goalscorer and yes Jota's ability to drive us up the pitch quickly. That had a big influence on "only" finishing 12th. So we're a mid-table team without our best player.... Colour me surprised. Let's not forget we only had a 2 day break before this season started after a playing 50+ games the previous season as well. There was always going to be some hangover because of that too. It was always going to be a season of stabilising and not expecting too much, then Jimenez was out for the season 10 games in. 6
AKCJ Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 If Spurs sign Nuno then Harry Kane will be out of there immediately.

Two seasons back to back and some want to make believe it never happened or had no impact on the players/staff and their physical and mental wellbeing. The lack of empathy is astounding but then I realize I live on planet Earth.
Rusko187 Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Surprised Nunos gone, granted this season hasn't been great for Wolves.. but he's always looked quite decent. Perhaps his tenure has run it's course and fresh faces are needed. 1
st albans fox Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 (edited) Seems a bit too convenient for him to be heading to Spurs .... and I think he’s not a big enough name for levy Edited 21 May 2021 by st albans fox

foxinsocks Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Kane will stay at spurs. No club will pay anything like what levy wants. He is a good striker ... but he cheats too much.
filbertway Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Good luck the club that has to put up with Nuno's disgusting brand of football. I hope he goes to Spurs
Corky Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Slightly off topic but I am enjoying these rumours about clubs offering unwanted squad players to Tottenham to make up for Harry Kane going. "I know he's your best player but surely Kepa and Tammy Abraham/ Phil Jones and Matic will make up for it?" 1
simon789us Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Are spurs really 1 billion in debt ??? as a spurs mate of mine reckons its closer to 200-300 million as the council paid for half of their new ground

I think you are right, your team was built around jiminez and the system clearly works with someone lethal at the top. but at the end of the day it is his job to adapt and he failed to do that. adequate replacements weren’t signed in his defence. I think it’s for the best though, as the current crop seem to have lost the enthusiasm you came up with and this is hard to get back as a manager 1

simon789us Posted 21 May 2021 Posted 21 May 2021 Knew he was talking bull shit when he said spurs going after brendan when we fail to make top 4 and that levy would give him all the money from the sale of harry plus extra to sort the team out

I don’t think they will have the summer they hope for and I’d be very surprised if Rodgers went there for next season.
