This thread is so great, loving Leuven, loving the cow with the viking helmet. lol

 

Nice to see the manager buying in for the long term as he has clearly done a decent job. The cynic in me wonders if an improved contract might have been discussed, BR did get a fat contract last year in similar circumstances, as I recall.

We assume so, though the club nor the manager would openly comment on that i think.

I was already sharpening my pedantry pencil getting ready to write how viking helmets do not have horns, but then I realised they could be the cow's horns :blush::rolleyes:

Tonight 9th placed OH Leuven face 16th placed Saint-Truiden who are on 9 points after 11 games.

 

OH Leuven can move up to 8th with a win, possibly 7th but would require a +5 goal difference gained in this match.

 

Saint-Truiden last time out lost 2-1 at home to Genk, and have only won 2 of their 11 games in all competitions this season

 

Leicester Loanees: Kamal Sowah starts, Daniel Iversen and Josh Eppiah are on the bench

Too many of our guys underperformed tonight, especially our key players like Mercier and Sowah. We never looked determined like we did against Standard, Club Brugge, Anderlecht,...

 

This was our first game in 23 days due to the international break and the postponed game against Moeskroen, so this would explain why our guys were so rusty.
