The problem being that he needs either 5 years in Belgium to get a European passport or start playing for Ghana to get a work permit with us. Hopefully that will happen as there were press reports he is close to a call up.

You can buy a player without them getting a work permit, you just cannot use them. In theory, this is one of the main reasons OHL were bought, to get around work permit issues, especially post brexit.

 

Until he meets Work Permit criteria Leicester cannot bring him in to train or play, despite having him under contract.

The lack of starts or game time tend to point to lack of ability, even at that level, attitude or mental strength ....however you look at it  , their loans don’t help them or LCFC

The Championship is still a good standard but Hirst is nowhere near that level, should be at a League one/two club.
