Mahrez and Maddison's goals were belters but Vardy's should win it not just for sheer audacity but for the build up that led to it. there was some great stuff in there, Amartey,s little controlled header, the little triangle to create the space for Yt to thread that ball through. if any of the usual suspects such as Liverpool had scored that we would never hear the end of it and it would be trailer for every sky game for the next couple of months.

Vardys should get it for the moment in the game too.

I always feel that’s underrated in determining top goals.

1-1 in a tight game, that move and that finish in that exact situation is the reason it beats Maddison’s or Praets say.

Maddison great technique but at 3-1 away and City gone in the head, it’s just not the same feeling.

If it’s not Rogers for manager, Vardy for player and goal then everyone can bugger off.

In reality it will be Biesla or Klopp for manager.

Rodriguez for player and Rashford for goal.

It could be Ancelotti for manager.  Everton are unbeaten, they even won in the crappabo cup.

Throwing the Carabao Cup does work against Brendan, but stomping Man City away can't be overlooked.

Vardy and Castagne

Timmy is a good shout. If there was an award for impact of a new signing it would surely be nailed on

I thought it's specifically a PL award?

Castagne should win the player of the month award, I can't think of another signing in recent history that his hit the ground running as fast as he has. 3 goal contributions in 3 games, 3 wins out of 3 and thumping a title contender 5-2 away! I don't think a right back / wing back can play better than he has over 3 games.

DCL will probably win it instead, though to be fair to him he would also deserve it.

Hope Castagne and Vardy don't split the vote.

DCL and Rodriguez might split the Everton vote, meaning Mane will probably win. Or Bamford, Leeds fans would love to win an award first month back.

Brendan has to get it as we finished the season with momentum against us and could easily have started this one in the same manner. The reversal in form and the way we blew man City away is incredible

How is Vardy's not a contender for goal of the month?!

Quite.

It’ll be james Rodriguez, ancelotti, and some Liverpool/Man Utd player for goal of the month I guarantee it!
