I hate how often we chop and change shape at the moment. It breaks up any consistency we could develop between games. Players benefit from knowing a shape, knowing where their team mates will be, knowing where their position is defensively. 

I think it's a combination of giving players time to keep them fresh but also resting players for the same reason (hence Evans and Mendy rested). Probably one eye on Leeds match too. 

 

I doubt 3 4 3 is the preferred option. Castagne missing doesn't help.

Not sure he has many choices at the moment, don't think Big Wez and Fuchs can play 4 anymore. Especially  in the same 4.

This looks awful, we are setting up to chuck this game unless we get a grip. I had  some concerns with the lineup, as in lack of attacking threat but we're simply struggling to pass a la Brendan style

Unfortunately we can't retain the ball at moment. Choudhury dosen't seem to be showing for the ball whatsoever.

 

Fofana has to come out driving with the ball for us to create anything.

 

The issue is simply the pass from defence to the two centre mids. If we can rectify that (maybe maddison drop slightkt deeper  we'll be fine)

Worried about the abilities of Wes and Fuchs in a 4 with Hamza supporting them.
