Commentator on Rodgers’s tactics for Arsenal game: “Tactical masterclass”. This is where false reputation gets built. To be fair, it was just defensively set up that any coach can do and first half was really poor. We just got lucky with Vardy being in our team and 2 chances created. Just don’t like short memories and falsehoods even if it is about our team.

 

It is the same as how Maguire got his reputation. One commentator started calling him good, then everyone followed without watching.

Do we think this formation is just about trying to give everyone a game and rest a few players (like Praet) or do we really think Rodgers believes 343 is the best use of the personnel available here? 

 

Cos this has been horrid so far. Defensively and offensively. 

 

I hate how often we chop and change shape at the moment. It breaks up any consistency we could develop between games. Players benefit from knowing a shape, knowing where their team mates will be, knowing where their position is defensively.
