I’m really in to my birds, anyone know any good spots to see birds of prey? Would love to see an owl.

This thread is just begging for the question "what's the biggest animal you could beat in a fist fight?" To be asked.

 

I reckon a penguin. One of the big ones. 

 

You'd have to go for head shots, the blubber would cushion the blows.

 

They're about 4 foot tall, so it'd be like knocking out a 10 year old, which doesn't make me particularly proud.

Saw a barn own 2 days in a row over the fields between Countesthorpe and Peatling Parva a few months back.

Walking the dogs this morning in Shepshed and came across a Muntjack (forgive spelling) which I thought was quite random and surprising.

I saw a black swan walking around the JCB site in Staffordshire. Striking looking bird. But apparently I learned later that there’s a sanctity close by, which took the wild edge off.
