Basic mistake from him for the goal today but he’s only a small part of the problem. We’ve just can’t score and the chances of us bagging 2 in a game are probably 40/1. We have to go 3-5-2 get Nelson on the pitch and go for it. Need to get some balls about us.

At this point my only guess why we got him a new contract is to hope we can sell him and get bigger profits as he’s home grown

I don't know how reliable Transfermarkt is, but that put a value of around €10-12 on him in 23/24. It now puts a value of around €6 on him. So given the wages we'll be paying him, he's going to have to show one hell of an improvement to have that work out.

Were either banking that he does or it’s just a punt in the hope that someone wants to buy him which I few would be the most King Power mentality, nothing we seem to do has any real thought or planning and more in the scheme of hope/luck

I know its part of today's game but its worrying that his default first nove is to start grabbing the attacker. If he hadn't been done for the goal it would have ended in a peno.

Poor positioning and no strength, his first thought was to commit an obvious foul in the box.

And for the peno, his default move was to stop and pass backwards when a simple forward pass was on. brain dead player.

Where’s the evidence of that?

All from Capology.com as good info as you can get. There’s absolutely no evidence anywhere that there’s been a wage cut. Quite the opposite.

Worst full back we’ve ever had. My Dad has been watching since early 60s and agrees. How ANYONE can think he’s strong enough, attacking enough, brave enough, skilful enough needs their head testing. Neat and tidy left footer but nothing more. Embarrassing he’s our first choice LB,

Why can't footballers' salaries be performance-based?

It would require every club to do, and some are willing to gamble on players. Nothing stopping us from doing it, but it could (and I know we are absolutely wank so probably wouldn’t) make a difference to the players

we can sign.

If I think about what attributes he has or what he offers to the team, I can’t think of any. He’s a liability. Probably the worst in his position in the division.

Another one where academy-based sentimentality gets in the way. Has had flashes of brilliance (like THAT goal against United), and the odd inspired match performance, but he looks cooked at Championship level now. One of his worst turnouts today by far.

Luke is one of those, like Choudhury, where it's easier to keep him on than look at replacements, and that's where we are as a club. Maybe time on the sidelines will do him good.

Cooked eh?

Heated to the correct temperature and nice to eat as a result?

Opposed to 'cold' which would mean good?

Can't wait for the draft and the tailgating that ensues.

Least winningest left back. Deeefense.

Well Millwall had him for dinner so that makes sense.

He's so cooked that we're not the winningest. Needs to be more cold on the offense, shun.

Maybe try to be the most offensive member of the pack. Maybe next time he'll hit the home run.

I just thought. Maybe a quarter back and receiver in the offensive would be good.

So cooked. Like an omelette. Cooked.
