He does not have a clue and looks terrified in possession.  The ball is like a hot potato and he is so desperate to play an easy pass and move responsibility.  As for his so called shot, I have more strength in my kidney wiper.

Don’t know if we were ever interested but people seemed quite dismissive of re-signing Callum Doyle.  I know who I’d rather have in the team every week.

I mean Doyle can’t get in Wrexham’s side so I’m not sure he is the answer…

I reckon we have a few unfit players. Combine that with some that don't want to be here & the others on their long, overpaid contracts (although some have completed all of the above !), it's no surprise we're in an almighty mess.

None of them should be unfit, they dont press or close down, infact they barely exert any sort of energy whatsoever, lazy charlatan barstewards!

Fair play to Thomas, he’s one of the ones who does try albeit with limited capability at this level. I still can’t get my head round how based on his previous seasons he’s managed to secure a 4 year, double your wage, £30k a week deal here. He’s on triple the wages of Mavididi and Jordan James. His agent has worked some absolute magic!

I delayed positing this comment,  just to check myself for hyperbole, but I think he's right up there with Ward.

In fact, it's entirely possible that he's  comparatively worse. Ward was professional level at taking crosses and with his feet. Thomas isn't professional level at anything. Speed, strength, height, technical ability, even positioning  (which is perhaps his main argument to cling to of being a professional when compared to national League level player)

I always feel slightly bad about being so harsh on a local lad, a city fan from a city family. But it's agony watching him. That panicked angled pass back to his center half where he kinda contorts himself. 10, 25, 35 times a game.

Made me laugh this week everyone getting upset about Wilder being interviewed and not getting the job.

The bloke literally called out Thomas and Hamza in that quote, you know 100% they'd both be in the starting XI every week without fail.

League 2 Luke has fluked a career better than anyone i've ever seen.

In the boozer tonight as usual.

Laughing and joking no doubt about how he fooled the club into giving him a new contract

Played really well yesterday. Let’s see if he can keep this up as if he and Skipp can maintain what they showed yesterday, Nelson in defence, Mavididi back into form in recent weeks and Faes/Winks/Soumare banished, we could still have some hope this season.

Best performance for a few years today, hopefully keep it going

I think it’s more frustrating seeing him play like this,  he is obviously capable of doing things that progress the team. So why not play like this and make better decisions more often.

Yesterday should be the basics and standard for every game he plays. If not he can get back in the bin. Hopefully he feels some sense of pride in his job and gained a new desire.

He did slip into the sideways and back mode once JV tried to take over the tempo of the game to make it about himself. Get rid of him or his control over the tempo and we play like the first half every game, that lifted players like Skipp and Thomas out of the muck.

Sadly Ricardo appears to be stuck.

As long as he doesn't overlap! He'll never receive the ball

One of Mavs worst traits and would be stamped by a half decent manager.

He plays too much like Ayew in this sense, greedy and would rather fail than let anyone else do it. They should be working on those passages of play so Mav can get the ball on the edge or get in the box and let Thomas worry about the cross.

It worked so they should repeat it.  Unlike the JV slow pass to Ayew/Daka with his back to goal that never works.
