Morning all,

I am back with yet more success for Leicester City.

Today, our past EFL winner is Leicester City's Championship title triumph under Nigel Pearson in 2013-14.

Be great to reminisce about your EFL days and to look back on an amazing season.

We look back at the key results, the big wins and where the title was won.

Happy reading and Christmas wishes to you all!

So many great memories of that season!

Mahrez vs Blackpool

Drinky's last minute equaliser against Watford (I think...)

Vardy's length of the pitch run and finish against Millwall

Kasper being denied a surefire equaliser against Yeovil only for Chris Wood to nod it in

Seriously thought that season would be as good as it got for long time... 😅

Lloyd Dyer ripping defenders. Mahrez’s debut. Loftus Road squirrel. 4-4-****ing-2. Dyche moaning. Marcin Wasilewski. Taylor-Fletchers gut. Pissed up against Brighton. Nigel ****ing Pearson.

Great times.

The win against Bolton around Christmas/NY really did take us to that next level. 5-3 wasn't it? Didn't we go 2-0 down too?

Absolutely smashed the league up that year and arguably should have beaten the record points total

1-0 up. Then 1-2 down. Then 2-2. Then 2-3 down. 3-3 at HT.

I was busting for a piss after an hour of the game, but daren't go to the bogs because the game was so entertaining and I feared I'd miss something.

The one moment that stands out that season was, December 2013. Loftus Road.

Top 2 clash, huge game. Our world class striker appears and stands up.

World class finish. Huge goal in a huge game.

We never looked back..

Loved that season especially beating Burnley at their place. Dyche then moaning about it. Imo 2 results did it for me - beating Leeds away and getting a point at forest when we were down to 10 men. These showed the sign of true champions.

Brighton at home was a laugh. A hungover team and Ulloa ripping us apart. Not that anyone was bothered.

I can actually remember being very pissed off at that defeat. Should really have cut them some slack after what we had achieved but wanted our long unbeaten run to extend to the end of the season.

...I still believe our mentality in that season was the precursor for our Premiership title win!!!

We broke a lot of teams spirit, we never let up, when teams believed they had closed a gap we went out and won again. It was metronomic.

We carried the same mentality and spirit in 2014/15  but we changed the way we played and suffered from it.

The Great Escape and what came after was a testimony to a group who worked for each other with the believe of winners.

Absolutely  correct. The relentless nature of that title. Win after win after win..Saturday , Tuesday, Saturday. Every single week. Under pressure too. We needed to go.up.

Albeit done at a lower level, we had that title.winning relentless mentality in our locker over Spurs and Arsenal two seasons later

Loved the season though. Ipswich away stood out for me. A rare away game for me. 0-1 down at ht and came out second half and tore into them

I only got to maybe five games that season but one was the away day at Bolton when we clinched the title. God I loved Lloyd Dyer.

Like many, I believed that would be the best season for decades!
