Today's game was our final match of what has been a pretty eventful year.

How do you think we've done over the course of the year?

For me we've really taken the next step in growth as a club. We've had a successful year, where we've not dropped below 5th, kicked through out first Europa league group stage and seen some real gems in the side begin to develop. Not to mention moving into Seagrave, which looks to be outstanding.

Obviously on the negative side, our fall of form at the beginning of the year dropped us from CL to Europa, but that for me summarises where we are. Banging on the door of the top 4.

Let's hope next year continues to see us develop as a club, and hopefully, gets fans back in the grounds. Seems ridiculous the last live game I saw was that 4-1 Villa match back in March.

Started off full of hope, went to shit.

New season started full of dread which quickly turned to hope then despair and horror. Overall ended this year how we ended 2019. Just hoping not to drop off next year like we did at the start of this year.

Who even thinks about football in terms of calendar years and not seasons?

We'll know how good this calendar year has been in May, based on whether it's set us up for anything or not.

Despair and horror? We are 2nd in the league and flying in Europe...

I take it your a recent convert to Leicester City? Because I can really remember despair and horror.

In terms of 2020 Obviously the great lock down capitulation was awful, a slow moving car crash, hated every moment but the rest of 2020 has been great I've especially enjoyed Thursday nights in Europe this season and the side playing some of the if not the sexiest football of my 36 year lifetime.

Frustrating.

Threw away 2 great opportunities at domestic cups and CL qualification.

Some good stuff since September but even that is tinged with frustration at some really poor results in games we should be winning.

Probably the most frustrating year I can remember. Yes, we've been in far worse positions but our 'hot and cold' form has, at times, been baffling.

Most of the time, I think the blame lies at Brendan's door; trying to be too clever tactically.

However, we're in a good place overall if we haven't quite kicked on and we're currently sitting in the top 4 with the Europa League knockouts to look forward to.

More tongue in cheek. Covid and today's squad selection (horror).

Injuries restricting us (despair).

FYI

Been a fan since the 90s.

Moments of promise mixed in with maddening inconsistency. Squad wise we're in a better place than 12 months ago but there are still issues.

It’s been the second best year in the clubs history, and along with the new training ground, and the proposed stadium expansion it will only get better. The end of last season was a blot in the copy book, other than that, it’s been a step in the right direction.

The epitome of what it's like to support Leicester. Never a dull moment - plenty of highs and plenty of lows, very rarely anything in between.

But hey, loved every minute of it. We're 2nd in the league and in Europe with some serious talent in the squad. It's gone alright!

Put this into a single season and its mid table, which just about sums up how we've played. Remarkable that we haven't been lower than 5th (I think) in that time. Can't even say we've over achieved, we've just picked up, and dropped points in completely random games.

Crazy year in exceptional circumstances, but we need to be better in 2021 which sounds crazy considering our position.

But... we could be Derby or Forest.

Never enjoyed watching us (on the telly anyway) more. Newcastle away at the start of the year. Winning at Arsenal for the first time in my life. Dismantling Leeds and Man City away. More European wins than I could dream of.

Watching our b team outplay a mid table PL today even

Only a horrendous injury list since covid has dampened things.

Works out to 1.44 points per game, or 54.7 points over a 38 game season

Lets call it 55 points, last season we would've finished 9th

Our early season form is certainly carrying us into these higher positions, just need to hope we can carry into 2021 unlike last season
