Fantastic keeper and for a lot of us he feels part of the club now. It's not often a player does a decade at a club, especially not Leicester City, remarkable. I can't see him leaving him the next couple of years, so think he'll probably end up at 500+ appearances (That would put him 3rd in our all time highest appearances list)

Can't believe he's been here for 10 years now.

Definitely deserves a testimonial at some point whatever amount of games he ends up on. Wouldn't be surprised if it's against Man Utd with some old school players making appearances, maybe even his dad too lol

Legend of the club.

For all his flaws, (of which i personally think he has very few), it's not often you get ten years of service from a player in modern football.

We've not had to worry about signing a first choice keeper for years now, we will realise how lucky we have been when he's gone.

I love him, a true great of the club.

great asset for the club, albeit makes the odd mistake but his positives massively outweigh the occasional mistake (and kicking lol) he is very vocal as well which will indirectly help the teams organisation.

Only on 398 officially I read as the Community Shield is classed as a friendly.

Same as Vardy's goal in that not counting towards his official total for us.

Best goalkeeper in 1-on-1’s in the league. People just can’t get past this guy when they are through on goal. That’s what happens when you train with Vardy, I suppose, everyone else moves in slow motion.

Agree. For his other flaws, Schmeichel is remarkable in one v one situations.

Every player has flaws. But what he’s given is over an extended period negates any and is nothing short of outstanding. A truly superb signing. We couldn’t have wished for a better keeper for the evolution period we’ve undertaken.

Kasper is a great servant to the club. He has got better as the club has got better, and leads by example.

A great captain and as we have heard in recent months, he's very vocal on the pitch.

He comes across as a very intelligent guy and from what we hear he is highly professional.

We were spoilt, by Banks,Shilton,Wallington,Flowers & some other top young Reserve talent, in the 60s 70s....

in Today s Top Gks market, few are like the forementioned, " regular Error free Top Quality consistent seasons",

Our Kasper has grown & Matured on & off the pitch...Takes without question his Legend status among our Leicester Stalwarts History...

Arguably Shares that Mr Leicester Status with Vardy...

In todays OTT fans-fanatical-punditary ,who Chase  every weakness, and errors ,to prove nothing really special....

Schmeichel still IMO comes out has one of the best GKs in modern PL & International history...

Suprisingly unlike the Giants of times gone by, there are no Gks in the PL who Command & rule their Penalty Area or even 6 yard box...

On the continent there das more, but again Not compared to past GKs, other than Germany...

I will Simply say .. "Kasper  you'll do me" Thanks for your honest loyal service....

Quality keeper capable of world class performances on his day. His showreel from his days here will be mind-blowing.

He might be a couple of inches short of what he would need to be the very best, but his shot stopping is as about as good as you will see anywhere, imho.

To me Kasper was the very beginning of when we started becoming a decent team. Years of average and below average goalkeepers and then he turns up and all of sudden we have a goalkeeper that can stop a shot from 30 yards with ease (sorry Chris Weale). His best trait (shotstopping) is also in my opinion the most important trait a goalkeeper needs and i'm glad he's a solid 9/10 in that department.

No chance that he overtakes Pele's goalscoring total then.

Absolutely. The thought of having a solid no.1 for a full season seemed absurd about 15 years ago!

He has a few flaws, reluctance to come off his line springs to mind, but overall he has been absolutely fantastic for us, both on and off the pitch. Top keeper and leader.

Alongside Gordon Banks no doubt Leicester's best goalkeeper. Still think Kasper is one of the best keepers in europe it's incredible to think we have managed to keep him here this long. Think it shows how much love he has for the club as I think there has been opportunites for him to leave but opted not, to be fair I can see him being for many more years.

His best moment of course against Sevilla... watch and enjoy
