Dorset saying Arsenal WILL NOT let him come here.

He reckons Hamza will go to Newcastle, Longstaff will go to Wayford and Chalobah will come here....

To be honest, we hope whoever comes in just sits their ass on the bench until the season is over

Ala Bennett last season...

Anyone remember Maddison getting him sent off?

He was fuming because to be fair Madders definitely overplayed the tackle to get him another yellow lol

Our process of organic growth seems ok so far, so rather than your bang/bust approach, I hope we stick with our current trajectory rather than passing Sunderland on the way down

..spending £25m now is not going to jeopardise our ability to stay within any financial parameters!!!

Champions League revenue would offset that. We cannot fail to reach the top 4 as it is clear that good players (Danny Ings) sees that as a incentive to join.

I am sure players like Vardy want to experience Champions league again, while they can acquit themselves, and our short term attitude does not help.

.. who is looking to panic buy!!!

We have had a full window to get players in,we haven’t.

We knew the window was coming, we obviously did no forward planning.

Buying in this window may be difficult but not impossible and if it is just down to fear of getting it wrong then they are in the wrong position!!

Where does he fit in if he comes here though? We have 3 top class full backs and a young lad with lots of potential. Surely we are looking to loan Thomas out if he comes here, if it’s on a permanent though where does Thomas fit in with future plans??

If that happens I feel we've somehow ended up with the worst of the three 😂

Hard to criticise our scouting team too much, perhaps on the forwards (But Vardy...) and it sounds like we trying to look at forwards, but are perhaps taking extra care due to past failures in this area  :dunno:

We also need to recognise this an even harder winter window than normal, doubt it has anything to do with ambition tbh

Genuinely dont understand why the 3 clubs don't just keep the 3 players they already have, none of the 3 are being improved with this transfer merry go round

Weve also enquired about several players and been knocked back. If you think Rudkin and Congerton have just been on holiday all month and just got back today then you are an idiot! Yes its frustrating we haven't got any decent players in but Rodgers even said in an interview the club have actively been trying to get players in. We were never planning on signing anyone this window but got our hand forced with Praets injury. Do you think liverpool are happy with Davies? Chelsea, United, Spurs all not signed anyone. Arsenal did well getting odegaard but generally nobody has brought anyone in as there is little money around and no clubs are willing to let their players leave for reasonable fees. Plus we were never looking to sign anyone permanently, it was always going to be loan deals but wages would always be an issue with the likes of Eriksen. None of us know what the clubs and owners finances look like right now so we just have to accept things for how they are right now.

All well and good but don't sign anyone then. There is simply no excuse or reason to sign Nathaniel Chalobah. He never has, nor never will be a creative midfielder. We don't need a defensive midfielder.

Oh yeh I totally agree with that, it just pisses me off when people say we haven't tried to sign anyone. I'd have just given the loan fee back to luton and got KDH back if it was a possibility. None of the 3 clubs seem to getting a good deal out of this merry go round
