I have never seen a club give this much time to a manager. Everyday a change is not made has a negative impact on the club. You can only assume it’s the due to mourning period. If he is not gone before next game I completely give up. Shocking.

Tuchel is out... seems Chelsea mourn more efficiently.

“It would be completely crazy to sack Rodgers right now. Rodgers has a project here at Leicester to be developed in the next three years.”

I don't think it was anywhere near this bad under Puel.

I don’t know, I distinctly remember leaving a game on the hour mark (think it was West Ham) as the pointless sideways passing had persisted for months on end and we were getting ripped to pieces on the counter, feels very similar to how things are now.

I am speechless that certain elements of the media are so taken in by BR. They actually rate him as a football manager and what he is doing here.

I have never seen anything like it. Quite literally any other manager not called Brendan Rodgers would have been sacked a long, long time ago based on what he has done here. Mind boggling.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce, what a throwback. One of the few things I can actually recall from The Dark Times was him always looking like the world's trickiest baller whenever he played against us.

I mean what else is there to say. If he isn't gone by the end of the day then I really don't know what to think.

Cardiff have sacked Morrison already since yesterday, there's no reason for this to be taking so long.

I can think of £10 million reasons why

I'd say the tide has turned on him with this start.

The top 7 or 8 clubs will be wary of him after this.

That’s pocket change when compared to the cost of relegation.

I don’t dispute that… but some people, whoever they are must think that’s not possible plus it’ll be negotiated settlement I would imagine, not a quick here’s a half a million see ya later Steve

They must be living in an alternate universe ( Top and co) because reality is we are certainly are in a relegation battle cannot buy a win to save our lives.

There’s no place for him at club anymore. He should walk away he’s not the person to get us out this mess. Players look lost, he keeps hanging Ward out to dry, slagging owners, players, fans. Nobody else in this division would go 6 losses on the bounce and keep there job.

Again I agree completely… but the simple fact is there’s more to this sacking purely because of the package then a sacking a Cardiff

I don't think i've ever seen a fanbase so unanimously against the manager at this point. Especially one who has won trophies here.
Lots of discussion here and some of it has come back to Puel, but I don't think it was ever this bad, fans wanted him out but they respected that although the results were not there, fans could see he was trying to build a philosophy with young talented future stars that were rough around the edges.
Rodgers tenure just feels rudderless at this junction, I distinctly remember about 3-4 weeks before Puel was sacked we had a poll and it had something like 45% of the fanbase still voting for him to continue. I think days before he was let go that shifted but even that was something like 15% In.
The Rodgers era just feels toxic now, it started off incredibly but now it genuinely feels like we are rotting both on and off the pitch.

It isn’t unanimously against the manager. were you at the game yesterday by any chance?

I’d say about 10% were actively joining in with anti-Rodgers chanting.

it’s astonishing.

I had an unbelievable conversation with someone yesterday in the ground who took offence to me shouting at Rodgers.

not his fault, he’s had no money, individual mistakes, we’ve scored 2 goals, who are we going to get in who’s better?

he has completely brainwashed people. It is absolutely mind boggling that anyone could still want him here.

Lee thinks it’s a unanimous fanbase

clearly it isn’t

This is it people say just sack him but it’s not then shelling out the cash, could be all sorts of clauses in it. Personally I trust the owners.

Would love a journalist say to Brendan's face that you still play players that were signed before you came.....and all your signings that you overpaid for just idly sit on the bench passing time.

Because he has a different opinion to you he's brainwashed? They are very valid points are they not?

We've got to be careful, I trust the board and when Rodgers goes we will have the right person for the job.

That’s because this team/squad should not be anywhere near the relegation positions let alone bottom, and the fact the Manager  is so insincere.

He’s going to be in charge for Forest and I simply can’t believe that. There is no way that this can be allowed to happen.

Simply given up as a club
