I seriously don't get how you or anyone can have this train of thought about the board?

Let's assume they were losing interest or planning to sell, please explain how wanting the team to go down helps them sell it?

More to the point why would they want that considering the countless millions  they've invested into the infrastructure and development of the club?

I truly am open to the reasons justifying  your comment.

...whether relegated or not, a £27m asset transformed into a £450m asset..!!!

Like I said, if he goes it’ll most likely be Tuesday, with a replacement being announced shortly after.

I’m just not sure he goes.

Ok l have a few posts left so I'll leave my usual one..... Again....

BRENDAN RODGERS IS STAYING UNTIL THE WORLD CUP AT LEAST.

No ifs buts or maybes they wont sack him, he wont leave so stop dreaming and fantasising.

If they were going to sack him he'd be gone already, if he were going to leave ditto.

Here endeth the truth (and us in the EPL)

It would be before the next training session, if it wasn't already last night or today. So it looks like it'll go on. Torture, I've mentally been going through dissociation for a while.

As I’ve said and many have before me - this will be dragged out for as long as humanely possible because top cannot afford to pay the compensation package required to sack the joker. There will be a point when Top will finally see that we have no other option but to sack him even if that means spending money. I don’t think that point will have been reached yet in the minds of those who matter. Sadly.

It has long since been reached.

Maybe... just maybe, he has already gone, but Top, being the respectful guy he is, doesn't want it raised until after the funeral.

Maybe. Also worth noting the chances of a media leak are very slim. Rarely happens with manager sackings especially on days where there’s no training…

We have one point from 7 games and a defence that gets worse as the weeks go on, why the fck would he not be sacked?

Because we are unbelievably skint. To the point that even with the Fofana money we are in a position where we can’t afford to pay Rodgers off.

He will stay until we are deep in a relegation scrap because there is something in the books that has this board scared stiff.

Aren’t we expanding the stadium? I think

FFP issues have clouded some peoples financial beliefs about the club
