Unpopular opinion among many, I'm sure, but I'm inclined to believe we would have been better off keeping Hamza here and coaching into him the discipline to perform Ndidi's role.  Hamza was pretty strong in the air, had a committed tackle, and good speed.  His strength and attitude would be an asset to us right now.

One of his last performances for us was in a 1-0 win over Liverpool, against the odds, in a very weakened team.

Hamza needed the move. You've seen the result of the 'coaching' that has happened over the past 2 years, every single player has gone backwards.

Its not just the coaching the lad needed to get away from he needed to change environment, not being able to go out in Leicester every single weekend will have had an impact on his career too.

Nice to see Simon Jordan call out Brendan’s bullshit for a second week running.

If a chairman was ever basing their decision on the future of a manager on one game then they should not be in that role.

I think the Forest home game was pivotal in this thinking.

It did more damage for us in the long run despite the much needed 3 points.

Absolutely bang on that.

I'd love to know what Rodgers does for Robbie Savage in private for him to be so supportive on 606. It's ridiculous.

Can see it now, Rodgers goes to West Ham, Moyes leaves West Ham joins Everton and we get lamped with Lumpard and Football Focus produce a comical Magic Roundabout animation leaving us wishing we'd got Dougal instead

That's it? Did Jason Bourne wake up after a 3 day bender and receive a text from Brendan asking to stick up for him?

Bang on. Jordan is right.

I know that Murphy and White have to show the impartiality and 'the other side of the argument', but they're bellends anyway so they were just being arses. They couldn't see that Jordan is right because their natural reaction, for Jim White especially, is to create controversy and just question everything for the sake of it.

And if Brendan does get his coat as Simon says (put your hands in the air), Michael Appleton is now free, again.  Presume Moyes might be free come Saturday?

Why would we want to employ Michael Appleton as our next manager?

So its not just us fans that think this, sometimes i have thought maybe we are being fickle due to our love of club, and all the other so called professional pundits ect saying hes a good coach, he has not been backed ect...

Its so nice to hear an outsider say this stuff!

Honestly, people that have listened to him week in week out for near of 4 years still fall for his tricks. Refreshing to hear someone with clarity of thought actually looking at Rodgers objectively rather than just blindly swallowing the lies, misdirection and nonsense he spouts.
