Liverpool vs NorwichĀ

Newcastle vs West HamĀ

Leicester vs WolvesĀ

Ā

All first games that we've also seen in recent years.

Ā

We also have Man City early on and Spurs as one of our last games, which always seems to be the case.

Ā

How are fixtures selected because it can't be random?

Good game is this but I cannot stand it when keepers don’t dive!Ā

Newcastle have always had the players to be a reasonably entertaining team. All this talk that Bruce was doing wonders with the squad by keeping them up was crap.

Good game this! Both teams suspect in defence which will suite us next week…. Anyone know what ASM is doing with his lower legs? I presume it’s an injury management technique?Ā

You have to think about all the scenarios, especially the amount of london teams who can play on the same day… and that’s before you include championship and lower league teams.Ā
Ā

It’s always likely similar fixtures will fall at similar times, especially for sides who don’t have to have as many considerations.Ā

Imagine our best 11 with ASM on the right side of a front 3 with Vardy and Barnes. Plus Daka and Kel to come off the bench.Ā

How come you never see big derbies like Liverpool v Man Utd, Man Utd v Man City, Tottenham v Arsenal never being played on the opening day of the season.
