The Newcastle fans turning up with ghutra’s on….. screams of tin pot, and isn’t it cultural appropriation?

People should be free to wear what they want. Tell the Rastas that their hairstyles were invented by the ancient Greeks and also worn by the pharaohs in ancient Egypt.

Anyone with an ounce of self respect would have quit years ago

And that's the crux. He's bent the knee to his paymaster and didn't have the backbone to make a stand or leave the club as he knows he has no future anywhere else in the PL

Doesn’t it seem somewhat close to the bone? In the context of Newcastle’s current situation?

Of course Bruce will probably be glad to be out.

Anyone losing from now on will probably get a midnight visit from the Saudis heavies

I’m not sure that’s how they operate. Probably send the manager a letter inviting them to a meeting at an overseas embassy. That’s when you know you’re in trouble.

He's too proud (arrogant) to resign but he's a gonner.

Robbie Savage will be defending his mate to the end, though.

I stand corrected!

Bit of an unfortunate turn of phrase considering the Khashoggi accusations

Every club in the PL will be doing their level best to beat Newcastle between now and the end of the season, in the hope of sending them down before they can start splashing the cash.

Bring back Mike Ashley.

Well, for all of Ashley's faults he didn't go around killing people like the Saudi regime

Are we not on TV next Sunday ?

No, though surely we could have played Saturday. I know normally Europa league teams play the following Sunday but considering we play Wednesday it was still doable.

I hope so. Anyone not wanting them to be relegated who isn't a Newcastle fan is frankly bonkers.

Still I’m sure if I was about to be sacked a couple of mill would probably soften the blow!

Given how often he's left clubs i think that'll be a drop in the ocean.
