cruzFOX Posted 22 May 2021 Posted 22 May 2021 KING POWER looks better than anything else I've seen so far. Duty free business will be trickling back later this year as covid hopefully simmers down and international travel picks up. 2

As others have said it doesn’t really matter if they don’t operate in the UK. However there’s also a possibility they are planning to launch in the UK and are going to need a lot of advertising to make it happen 1
AjcW Posted 22 May 2021 Posted 22 May 2021 Good that they’ve persuaded them to white out their logo. Could have easily been a green square 2

For me I don’t really see an issue with regulated sports betting but it’s the other side of gambling that I think is the bigger evil (casino, slots etc). That being said for my own good I don’t partake in any form of gambling!

Foxxed Posted 22 May 2021 Posted 22 May 2021 Isn't this investment rather than betting? I mean, of course, modern investment is increasingly casino capitalism but we're at least a step above bet356 eh. 1

There are still a lot of moral issues with "investing" especially in its current form, but it's not the same as gambling. Gambling is much much worse and much more dangerous. Certainly not my preferred sponsor but could have been much worse. Gambling sponsors have gone out of control, and it's shown its face in society. 1
Ricey Posted 22 May 2021 Posted 22 May 2021 If we do have a new sponsor it may mean that we won’t wear it tomorrow as often deals like that run from start of season until the end of seasons. 1

foxinsocks Posted 22 May 2021 Posted 22 May 2021 (edited) The truth is that the betting companies call problem gamblers their "vip" customers. Betting companies say behave responsibly.... but dont really identify those with problems who may be addicted and losing money they dont have! Edited 22 May 2021 by foxinsocks
