Adidas employee: Wow, that was a busy week. Feel like I forgot something. Oh well, I'm off boss, have a good weekend

Adidas Boss: Hang on. I haven't seen your design for the new Leicester shirt. The deadline was today. Tell me you haven't forgotten?

Adidas employee: (Nervously) Of course not boss, ha ha. Did you not get that email with my design?

Adidas Boss: No. I did not. You haven't forgotten have you?

Adidas: Relax boss, I'll just pop back to my desk and re-send the email.

They can gtf if they want me to call it soccer.

Investment should be available to the people, maaan, not the already rich. Democratise betting on companies! A hedge-fund for every newborn!

Fleecing Betting Footballfans didn't work for the acronym FBS, hence my use of the term soccer

Not a term I'd usually use, but the origin of the word soccer is from the UK around 200 years ago. It's not an Americanism, though they have adopted it to distinguish from their own 'football'.

Isn't this investment rather than betting? I mean, of course, modern investment is increasingly casino capitalism but we're at least a step above bet356 eh.

Don’t want to come across as some sort of a moral do gooder but these type of financial trading companies are a million miles away from the old style stockbroking types that facilitated people making medium/long term investments in companies.

It could be argued that they are worse than sports betting companies as the financial markets in which they operate are open 24/7 unlike sports where it’s a specific event that is being gambled on...

True. But at least FOR NOW you don't see kids putting money on the stock market or selling themselves for it. In general it's not AS accessible as betting and it's much more "serious" looking as it's not like fifa points, or football, or basketball, or whatever.

I say for now because I wouldn't be surprised with anything under capitalism. Anything for money.

Regardless it could be much much worse tbf.

It’s mad how strange it feels seeing a new sponsor. Says it all about our bond with our owners, doubt any other fans would give a toss about a new sponsor lol

For me though. Getting a new sponsor will probably pay for an extra player; and that’s all that matters.

As I said earlier as well it’s great that we’ve made them conform to the way we like our kits to look and not let them slap a green logo on a blue kit.

Looks alright. And relieved it isn't a betting site (though I know stocks are basically gambling for rich people) lol

I know this isn't gonna sell it to anyone here, but the font reminds me of the shirts our under 11s team used to have, sponsored by the local corner shop. Height of class. We won the league with them though.

Call me a cynic but this could be a great commercial ploy. What is the point of putting a duty free company on the shirt when global travel is at a very low ebb? Why not get someone else in for a season and get king power back on when travel is back to normal?

We’ve reached the point now where a commercial ploy is exactly what it is. A) our stock is high and global appeal is growing. B) we need extra cash to afford all the players BR needs to keep us top 6

At the risk of making this thread more tedious... investment at least helps prudent companies, whereas sports betting helps the bookies alone.

It appears as though it is mate, more or less.

I mean, add a dash of white under the gold on the sleeve (similar to the collar) and that's quite smart.

Nothing flashy or that but home kits rarely are.

Monochrome sponsor, no fancy logos or symbols, just bog-standard text. Looks clean and sharp, as did the (recent variation of the) King Power logo, and doesn't cause any horrible clash with the kit. Can easily switch colour to white/black/whatever to suit whichever strip its on. And it's not a f****ing betting company.

We could do far worse.

Only hope that it doesn't have the 'trade online' text at the bottom as in @Ashley's mockup and its just the 'FBS' logo as that'd look a lot cleaner.

Would look much cleaner without that for sure. Depends if they wanna make their brand associated with their tagline so people know what they do or simply recognize the logo itself

I think the trim on the sleeve is actually white and not gold according to @GingerrrFox

Weird seeing a shirt with King Power on them, does this mean we're getting a ton of cash next season for the shirt sponsor instead of the 1.5m or whatever it usually is.

It's not is it.

It's white lettering on a blue background. It actually goes with the shirt. King Power was just white lettering on a blue shirt.

It could be hell of a lot worse.

It’s some Poundland forex trading website with a rotten GDPR record. Honking.

I wonder how much we are getting?. I mean, are we considered top 6 in terms of sponsorship?.

I’m marketability studies we always seem to be valued around the same as Everton or West Ham so if you were to look at what they receive you won’t be far off

edit- they both receive 10million a season
