Any football historians out there?!

I know a few clubs(5 I believe) have won all 4 divisions.

But are Lcfc the only club to win League 1, Championship, Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup?!

And doing it in such a relatively short time period of time?! not going back to the 1800's for some teams..

That's amazing!!!!

Off topic but who are the five teams? Guessing Wolves and Burnley are two of them?

Just been checking this, and to my knowledge it's correct. Leicester, Aston Villa, Blackburn and Wolves are the only 4 teams to have won the top 3 divisions, League Cup and FA Cup.

Good question.

I found a couple that came close:-

Huddersfield have won F.A. Cup, Divs 1,2 & 4 but not 3 or League Cup

Preston have won F.A.Cup, divs 1,2,3 but not 4 or league cup

And In recent times Spurs have won F.A. :D

but it's also a bit of a 'non-stat' because there's lots of clubs who've never had the chance, and there's plenty of clubs in that list who have a 'clean sweep' of the divisions/cups available to them.

Everton are the biggest side to not have the full set. They've won the top flight an incredible 9 times, as well as several FA Cups, but have never won the League Cup which is amazing really.

Of course, the League Cup only started in the 60's so a lot of sides had their "golden era" before this and have not been as good since. Huddersfield Town are a good example of that.

Is there any other club that has had a better 12 years or so than we have?

You could argue Man City with all their titles, Liverpool with their Champion's League successes but I'm not so sure.  For us the prize keeps getting bigger and better, the trajectory is ever upwards, from League One title to Premier League Champions, for us, it is the first time we have won the title and the FA Cup.  To your average Man City fan, is their fifth title quite as special as their first?

Was wondering this earlier even for us. Winning the FA Cup again would be a huge achievement and I hope we win many.

But would anything top the feeling of Saturday?

Same with the league, we'll never be 5000/1 underdogs again.

So lucky to witness both occasions in our lifetime.

If if we are continuing the trajectory though, the next one has to be a European trophy surely?

We just need the League Two and National League trophies? Maybe the FA Vase or whatever it's called. Don't forget about the community shield

We've won the community shield.

Everton hold the record for most times as losing FA Cup finalists (8). They have won it 5 times though.

Yep. Think Man Utd have lost in 8 finals also.

Incredible to think that was Jonny Evans' first FA Cup final win. There was a 12 year period where Man Utd never won it (lost in two finals). Therefore players like Rio Ferdinand never won it.

Maybe we can enter a youth team to try and get a clean sweep?

I think this is very possible. We could have gone deep into the Europa League this season had we been in form when it mattered. Though I doubt we could have won the FA Cup had we got the Semi’s / Final of the Europa. The Europa League is a distinct possibility, if we’re in in of course.

So now we will no longer have to hear the “only team to lose 4 fa cup finals having never won it” any more, who is the poor beneficiary of our success. What other team has lost the most fa cups without winning it.

edit: A quick search on quora, if it’s right, though it’s wrong anyway because it still has us on there losing the 4 without a win. It says Queen’s Park (Scottish, not rangers) birmingham and palace all losing two.

We've held that record since 1963 as to this day no other club has reached 3 finals without winning 1 of them.

I think there are 3 or 4 teams who have reached 2 finals and lost them both but there is no one club which has now inherited our title. Watford are one of them.
