When he came on against Southampton, he looked like a leader.   His all round game was very good.

I hope he starts against Villa.  Soumare could come good in time but KDH changed the game on Thirsday.

I agree.

I think he has been incredibly loyal. He is 23 and with his talent he should have been playing PL football in another team like Brighton or Brentford or even Villa. He stayed to prove himself when others in his position would have moved on a year or two ago, especially as a midfield player. If they want to reach the highest level, they really need to start being in the first team from around 21, like Barnes (or even 19 like Thomas). For KDH, he is clearly talented with good instincts, but like Barnes, he needs game time to improve. People forgot that Soumare was already a first team player in France for years.  KDH is a late comer but I actually think KDH can be better than Soumare considering he is only just starting out. We should not punish him for his loyalty.

....the problem KDH had was that he played in our U23s and pretty well under any radar!!!

Good at distribution, composed on the ball and attempted to quietly influence the game on the periphery.

No club of note would have been looking at him to offer a way out of the academy at that time.

His loan move to Luton has changed everything for him, his attitude change, he believed in himself and expressed himself in a way he never sought to do whilst at this club.

Coming back from such a successful loan, he would have expected to have been given more game time and in a club in the top six, it was not unreasonable that he would believe, he could break through into the first team.

There would not have been the thoughts of loyalty, as his goals were set on better things (that is, playing for a top 6 team at his home club) I would suspect no other options were (for him), on the horizon.

He did really well at Blackpool as well - they absolutely loved him.

Mixed performance today. Thought he linked the play really nicely first half. Looked out of his depth in second. Villa pressed him after HT and he couldn't cope.

Yeah I really want him to do well and succeed and seems to have the right attitude, but I just think quality wise he just falls short for where we want to be. Couple of times in the second half the switch to Barnes was on and he over cooked the first one and the second one was intercepted. Fairly simple passes for a quality central midfielder.

Fair play to him always looks for that forward pass yeah their not always gonna come off but has the confidence to keep trying

looked scared to pass in the second half. Couple of times he didn't pass to Barnes in space, busy player, but his passing needs a large improvement

When you see comments like "looked scared to pass in the second half" it always makes me wonder whether it was to do with Rodgers' halftime instructions, given his history of criticising players for too much passing forward.

Fair play to him today, was about the only player who showed for the ball when the rest went missing.

Always going to be tough for him adjusting to this level when he's being asked to play like Tielemans.

Did OK today considering the shite that surrounded him second half and our so called defence.

The lad can come on for sure he has potential but at this rate he'll be needed in the championship for next season..

Only one of them that seemed to have any bollocks. Had a bit of bite to his game which was sorely missing in the rest of the namby pambies
