It's a complete and total lack of midfield. The Turkish defence get a hammering but its actually their midfield. 

 

They're non existant. Moore able to drop in to midfield to receive a long ball and nobody gets anywhere near attacking him. 

 

It's how it was so easy for Italy to slaughter them with pressure, their defence had nowhere to pass out in to forwards. Absolute toss.
