Yeah but I was making out he was going to get at least a couple of goals!

Italy were very good - particularly 2nd half.

 

Forward thinking and quick in attack.

 

Turkey played like it was actually an away game for them.

 

Probably hoped to nick a point and then rely on winning the other 2 games to come 2nd.

 

Bit of pressure though as they now have a -3 GD.

Reminded me a lot of us playing Man City in March. 
 

Genuine occasion where one team were so superior that they made their opposition look toilet

Loved watching Italy. Quick tempo, high pressing, also loved the rotation of positions, the midfield dropping in, covering the left back who was basically a winger, creating overloads all the time. When you watch teams like that, makes you realise how rigid England teams always are
